This is excellent. As a Catholic, I appreciate, having the full gospel....I witness, to alot of my fundamentalist friends, and I get nowhere, with so many of them, and the reason why is....they don't know scripture.......I can only pray, the Lord, will bring back the Glory, that His Church deserves...... 🤗

Pius XI started Christ the King in 1925.

In the USSR in 1925 the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church died and they didn't get a replacement until 1927 in a metropolitan bishop named Sergii. Sergii signed a declaration of loyalty to the state that declared full loyalty to the state in all civic matters, and it even claimed that the state had never mistreated the church (despite the killing of thousands) and it thanked the Soviet government for it's treatment of religion. A number of Orthodox broke with the new Patriarch in a schism, and the state arrested, exiled and shot multitudes of them because they were disobeying the Patriarch... talk about 'separation of church and state'... the secret police infamously would often ask arrested orthodoxbelievers the question, "What is your opinion of 'our' Metropolitan Sergii, the head of the Soviet Church?"

The only countries in the world that legally prosecute people for not obeying church leadership are the atheist communist states that institute their own leadership over the churches.

✍️ Well talk about a priest giving us our food in a timely manner! This is just what we needed to understand at this time here in Ireland - a lot of people use the expression "seperation of Church and State" as if it meant the State needed protecting from the Church! Thank you so much for this. - Blessings - Rene
