Deeply Impressed: Malu Dreier, socialist prime minister of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, met for 35 minutes with the Pope and was – quote – “deeply impressed”. Dreier has studied Catholic theology. Her party is pro-gay and pro-abortion. She encouraged the Pope to promote homosexualism, divorce and women ordination. Dreyer also handed to Francis a letter from a woman from Boppard with whom the Pope stayed in 1985 while trying to learn German.

The Pope Takes Revenge: The French weekly news magazine Le Point writes that after the Synod of Bishops Catholic prelates are sacked from the Roman Curia one after the other. The magazine calls this – quote – “a true witch hunt” adding: “At the Vatican, revenge is a dish best served hot.” Le Point believes that Cardinal Pell’ is in danger for having spoken out in favour of marriage. Ironically the Pope had encouraged the bishops before the Synod to speak openly. Quote: “Everyone needs to say what one feels duty-bound in the Lord to say: without respect for human considerations, without fear.”

False Hopes: During a visit in Germany Cardinal Giovanni Lajolo, President Emeritus of the Governatorate of Vatican City State, has commented on the pro-gay and pro-divorce stances of Cardinal Kasper saying: “Honestly, I do not know, whether the hopes, Cardinal Kasper has provoked, are real.”

Blitzquotidiano.it has identified the two alleged main-enemies of the Pope in the Curia. The first is the prefect of the Congregation for Bishops, Cardinal Marc Ouellet, whom Blitzquotidiano accuses of being a supporter of Eucharistic adoration and Gregorian chant. The second is archbishop Angelo Becciu, the Substitute of the Secretariat of State who allegedly is more in charge of things than his boss, Cardinal Parolin. Blitzquotidiano also knows that Francis will soon retire and the next pope will be Milano Cardinal Angelo Scola.
