Is Schola Peregrina using a specific chant/setting/tone in this video? Is it just Recto tono? I'm trying to find an example of the Confiteor in recto tono. Is there any audio examples available of the Confiteor?

Therefore, while I stand resolutely by my opinion of the celebration of the Extraordinary Form of Mass in this video, I regret the use of the phrase "lack of class". I regret nothing else.

This has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with your situation in your Parish, your beloved Parish Priest or the like. But, everything to do with an objective estimation of what is seen in the video.

Had no choice with the candles. This parish does not have a TLM, but allowed Father Kloster to say his last Mass in the Archdiocese before going to Ecuador on new assignment. Fair enough with the comments about Father rushing a bit I suppose, but as a member of the schola, your kinds words are duly noted and appreciated!

Bottle Candles in procession????? Not to mention, the Organ and procession were quite out of sync with each other. Do remember chaps, that this is NOT the ordinary form of Mass wherein one is accustomed to see such lack of class!

All must be done with deliberate reverence, a somber and solemn demeanour. Even the chanting of Prayers (recto tono) is just to rushed.... the ars celebrandi of the extraordinary form of Mass consists in that utter transcendent beauty resulting from a sense of timelessness - not rushing around and rattling off the Prayers as though they were magical incantations!

However, the choir and organ are simply lovely. The men do take their time with the chants and the organ accompaniament is well appointed. Thanks. 😇
