Empty Popularity: Cubans love the Pope and the Catholic Church, but they’re not into religion. Eight in 10 Cubans gave positive ratings to Pope Francis, seven in 10 rated the Catholic Church positively. But only 27 identified as Catholic. 44 percent said that they are not religious.
Religious: According to WIN/Gallup International the five most religious countries in the world are Thailand, Armenia, Bangladesh, Georgia and Marocco. The most religious area of this world is Africa, the least religious Western Europe.
Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe is fighting Obama’s anti-Christian and pro-Homosexual policies. He introduced an amendment to the Congressional budget bill asking that Federal agencies do not discriminate against an individual, business, or organization with hold religious beliefs against abortion or homosex- marriage. If passed, this amendment overrules Obama’s Executive Order that requires all federal contractors to adhere to promotion for homosexuals — and even provide benefits to homosex spouses.
Fight For Marriage: Ireland’s Catholic bishops spokesman has said the Church may no longer perform the civil aspects of weddings if the definition of marriage is changed and a quotation-mark-marriage extended to homosex couples. At present, the Marriage Registration Form – a civil document required by the State in order to recognize a marriage – is signed after the wedding Mass.
