CatholicFaithAlive on Sep 30, 2010 Rev. Thomas G. Morrow, S.T.D. speaks on purgatory. We might ask, what if you begin to grow in holiness, and you come to the point where you are in the state of grace and love God with most your heart, soul and mind but not all. And you love your neighbor nearly as much as you love yourself. And you die. Where would you go? Not heaven, since Jesus said you must love God with all your heart, soul and mind and your neighbor as yourself to have everlasting life. You wouldn't go to hell, since you died in the state of grace. You would go to purgatory!

Against Heresy
Great explanation. Very clear but also very scholarly! If only heretics could see this doctrine. 👍
