Botschaft von Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss an die Welt

We have a message for this Nakba day, for this 75 years of occupation. We want the world to know that what is being perpetrated agaist the Palestinian people, the oppression, the subjugation, the terrible cruelty is not in the name of our religion. Is not in the name of the Star of David. It is not in the name of the Jewish people around the word who are true to the Jewish religion. Because we are Jewish and because we are true to our religion, we are in total opposition to the existence of the Zionists state of Israel. I call it Zionist state of Israel because it is Zionist. It is not Jewish. Judaism in the Torah forbids Jews to have our own sovereignty, our own entity, since the destruction of the temples, and Jews, to be true to the Torah, never aspire or try to have our own state. We also are forbidden to kill or to steal. The whole concept ot taking this land away from the Palestinian people is totally antithetical and is contradictory to my religion, Judaism. Jews have always, from day one, stood up against this Zionist entity. We as Jews continue because we are true to the Torah. We stand and demontrate and we cry and suffer and feel the suffering of the Palestinian people. We want the world to know we are in solidarity, we are together with the Palestinian people in ther suffering. And we hope and pray to God constantly for the total end of occupation. We want the world to know that the Zionist movement is not a Jewish movement. It wa a political material movement, created by heretics, and they simply try to incorporate our religion in order to intimidate and silence people and call them antisemitic it they stand in opposition. But this is patently false. Antisemitic is supporting the state of Israel. It is a cause of exacerbating antisemitism by having this occupation. It is a cause of bloodshed of the Palestinians and Jews alike. It is the cause of the oppression of not only the Muslims and the Christians in Palestine, but of the Jews. Hundreds of thousands of Jews stnd in Palestine, have lived there prior to the state, they have lived in, and they continue to live until today and demonstrate daily and get brutally beaten and arrested. This is the sad story of this terrible Nakba. It is a tragedy, a calamity, and God, with this compassion we hope will see the suffering. And even today, the last few days, how you see daily the death and suffering ot the Palestinians and the attacks. It is all Zionism, not Judaism. God, with his compassion should bring a speedy removal of the Zionist state of Israel so we can once again live together in harmony, Jews and Arabs, as we've had for all thes hundreds and hundreds years. And Jews could show their gratitude to the Arab Muslim countries for their embracing Jews and giving them a home. Inshallah. Soon, in our days, amen.

Deutsch: Wir haben eine Botschaft für diesen Nakba-Tag, für diese 75 Jahre der Besatzung. Wir möchten, dass die Welt weiß, dass das, was gegen das palästinensische Volk verübt wird, die Unterdrückung, die Unterwerfung, die schreckliche Grausamkeit, nicht im Namen unserer Religion geschieht. Es geschieht nicht im Namen des Davidsterns. Es geschieht nicht im Namen des jüdischen Volkes auf der ganzen Welt, das der jüdischen Religion treu ist. Weil wir Juden sind und weil wir unserer Religion treu sind, sind wir in totaler Opposition zur Existenz des zionistischen Staates Israel. Ich nenne ihn zionistischer Staat Israel, weil er zionistisch ist. Er ist nicht jüdisch. Das Judentum in der Thora verbietet den Juden seit der Zerstörung der Tempel, eine eigene Souveränität, einen eigenen Staat zu haben, und um der Thora treu zu bleiben, streben Juden niemals nach einem eigenen Staat oder versuchen, einen solchen zu haben. Es ist uns auch verboten, zu töten oder zu stehlen. Das ganze Konzept, dem palästinensischen Volk dieses Land wegzunehmen, ist völlig gegensätzlich und steht im Widerspruch zu meiner Religion, dem Judentum. Juden haben sich ersten Tag an gegen dieses zionistische Gebilde gewehrt. Wir als Juden machen weiter, weil wir der Thora treu sind. Wir stehen auf und demonstrieren, wir weinen und leiden und fühlen das Leid des palästinensischen Volkes. Wir wollen, dass die Welt weiß, dass wir solidarisch sind, dass wir mit dem palästinensischen Volk in seinem Leid zusammen sind. Und wir hoffen und beten zu Gott, dass die Besatzung ein Ende findet. Und wir hoffen und beten ständig zu Gott für das vollständige Ende der Besatzung. Wir wollen, dass die Welt weiß, dass die zionistische Bewegung keine jüdische Bewegung ist. Sie ist eine politische, materielle Bewegung, die von Ketzern geschaffen wurde, und sie versuchen einfach, unsere Religion einzubeziehen, um die Menschen einzuschüchtern und zum Schweigen zu bringen und sie als antisemitisch zu bezeichnen, wenn sie sich dagegen auflehnen. Aber das ist offensichtlich falsch. Antisemitisch ist, wer den Staat Israel unterstützt. Es ist eine Ursache für die Verschärfung des Antisemitismus durch die Besatzung. Sie ist die Ursache für das Blutvergießen unter Palästinensern und Juden gleichermaßen. Sie ist die Ursache für die Unterdrückung nicht nur der Muslime und Christen in Palästina, sondern auch der Juden. Hunderttausende von Juden leben in Palästina, sie haben dort schon vor dem Staat gelebt, sie haben dort gelebt und sie leben bis heute und demonstrieren täglich und werden brutal verprügelt und verhaftet. Das ist die traurige Geschichte dieser schrecklichen Nakba. Es ist eine Tragödie, ein Unglück, und Gott, so hoffen wir, wird das Leid sehen. Und auch heute, in den letzten Tagen, sieht man täglich den Tod und das Leiden der Palästinenser und die Angriffe. Das ist alles Zionismus, nicht Judentum. Gott sollte in seinem Erbarmen eine schnelle Beseitigung des zionistischen Staates Israel herbeiführen, damit wir wieder in Harmonie zusammenleben können, Juden und Araber, so wie wir es seit Hunderten von Jahren getan haben. Und die Juden könnten den arabisch-muslimischen Ländern ihre Dankbarkeit dafür zeigen, dass sie die Juden aufgenommen und ihnen eine Heimat gegeben haben. Inshallah. Bald, in unseren Tagen, Amen.
