Bill O'Reilly on Pro-abortion media bias
Bill O'Reilly said tonight that the lack of network news coverage of the Planned Parenthood controversy reveals a bias in the American media.
O'Reilly pointed out that data from the Media Research Center shows that CBS News spent a total of less than eight minutes covering the Planned Parenthood story. NBC News spent just more than three minutes, while ABC News only dedicated 46 seconds.
"The Factor" host pointed out that when the Susan G. Komen breast cancer charity cut ties with Planned Parenthood, those three networks covered the story extensively, taking a sympathetic stance toward Planned Parenthood.
"That is called media bias," O'Reilly stated.
He noted that a recent Gallup poll revealed that 55 percent of Americans say they want abortion legal in only a few circumstances or outlawed altogether, while only 29 percent want abortion legal in all circumstances.
"Talking Points has long known that the American media is generally unfair, and the data on how the networks covered the organ-selling story basically proves that," O'Reilly said. "Liberal philosophy dominates in TV news, and that is what is being put forth to Americans on a daily basis."
