Thinking and Doing
Changing the way global economy works.

Who we are

We are an interdisciplinary research and tuition institution at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. At present we are two professors, two assistants, a back-office and 15 graduate and 60 undergraduate students.

What makes us different from other initiatives?

Our unique position in Rome, center of the Catholic Church.
Many future Church leaders study in Rome and are therefore reached through our program. They in their turn will influence their nations and communities.
The Catholic Church as biggest and oldest organization of global governance has a lot of experience to pass on as regards transcultural communication.

Why is it important?

It is important and effects our everyday life in many ways.
In the Catholic Church there is a growing need to reflect on the means and institutions necessary to implement the values of her Social Doctrine.
Christians in general are continuously challenged to explain the meaning of the Gospel and especially of the Sermon on the Mount for social and political ethics.
Secular society, on the other hand, needs a transcendental foundation for its values, without which human rights cannot be explained.

How do we hold ourselves accountable?

There is a Board of Directors which consists of well known leaders of important religious and economic institutions.
The Board of Directors receives the annual report and supervises our activities.
The permanent exchange with business schools professors and people who work in the different areas of study and research.
