The Chinese Catholic liturgical calendar for 2009 will be dedicated exclusively to Marian devotion around the world. The news agency Fides made this announcement, relating that Benedict XVI's visit to Lourdes in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Apparitions of the Virgin, has also revealed the great Marian devotion among Chinese Catholics.
