My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart!
On 1st November, 1950, sixty-one years ago, Pope Pius XII declared that I was taken to Heaven body and soul.
My dear children, several – many Gozitans and many Maltese – have forgotten everything. The custom of Halloween is making headway, my children. I have spoken to you of it on other occasions. When I first began to mention this event, there was not as yet so much fuss about it. From year to year it has gained ground, as has always occurred even with other matters, my children.
You must be witnesses, my children. I want you to be my witnesses. All such matters are foolishness – the doing of the devil, and for him to find ways how to insinuate himself and deceive you.
So, my Gozitan children, it is my wish that next Tuesday evening you come together here and gather others along with you, so as to celebrate the feast with me. Indeed, my children, do come yourselves and bring others along with you for the simple prayer – the prayer of the rosary. Come even in the case of bad weather – I too will get wet as I pray with you! I want you to bring a candle and a flower along with you on that day that we may celebrate together.
Our hearts are hurting, my children. Satan is deceiving many – and they are failing to see it. Indeed, my children, he is gaining entry into their lives in subtle ways – and not one is paying heed.
Come along then, my children! Together and in one voice we will meet for the prayer of the rosary.
