Seven Good Things in the Portuguese Constitution

The following quotes are taken from the official English translation of the Portuguese Constitution.

Article 24: "Human life shall be inviolable. The death penalty shall not exist under any circumstances."

Article 26: "Everyone shall possess the right to a…good name and reputation…" (cf. Canon 220)

Article 36: "Parents shall possess the right and the duty to educate and maintain their children."

Article 41: "Freedom of conscience, religion and worship shall be inviolable."

Article 43: "The right to create private and cooperative schools shall be guaranteed."

Article 52: "Every citizen shall possess the right to individually, or jointly with others, submit petitions…"
