Disneyland explosion forces police to evacuate Toontown

ANAHEIM, Calif. — Police evacuated people from“Toontown” in Disneyland after an explosion Tuesday night.Sgt. Robert Dunn of the Anaheim Police Department told the L.A. Times there were no injuries
from the explosion that happened at about 6:30 p.m. MDT.“As a precaution we have evacuatedToontown,” he said.Dunn also said it looked like dry ice had been put in a plastic bottle inside a trash can in Toontown.A bomb squad from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department responded to help investigate.Toontown was reopened to visitors after the area was declared safe.
