I regretfully feel it important to draw your attention to this evidence latest evidence of manipulative action by 'white ants' in the Roman Curia - especially in the English translation department.
First, a full month after the Synod on the Family ended (today, Nov. 18), its final and official relatio is still readily accessible on the Vatican website only in the original Italian. (You'll see that on clicking "Synod of Bishops", the obvious place to look for a Synod document.) However, the notorious interim report, so roundly denounced by the Synod Fathers, who were never allowed even to see it before it was made public, has been up there in five languages ever since it came out (October 13). All the other nine Synod-related documents listed on that web page have also been there in multiple languages since the end of the Synod. Only the most important (and most plain-spokenly orthodox) Synod document is thus deliberately kept pretty much inaccessible to the 90+ percent of the world's visitors to the website who don't read Italian.
Secondly, even if you're lucky enough to unearth the English translation (which was finally released two or three weeks after the Synod ended, and is buried on an obscure "Sala Stampa" page of the website where few would now ever think of looking for it), one finds the following blatant falsification of the original Italian, clearly perpetrated by strategically placed members of that famous Vatican "gay lobby", and/or their heterosexual fellow-travellers:
Article of 4 of this final and official statement of the Synod, in the original, concludes with these words regarding the challenges facing the Church today:
". . . discernere le vie con cui rinnovare la Chiesa e la società nel loro impegno per la famiglia fondata sul matrimonio tra uomo e donna. (emphasis added)
But the English version of those lines at the end of article 4 reads:
". . . to discern how the Church and society can renew their commitment to the family."
Thus, the last 7 Italian words, describing the family as "founded on marriage between man and woman", have been suppressed in the English version of a highly important Church document - one issued by an international Synod that made headlines round the word for most of October. Moreover, the unfalsified original text of no. 4 received a practically unanimous vote of approval (98%) from the Synod Fathers.
