The Eucharist shows us the path to avoid indifference to the fate of our brothers and sisters, to enter the same logic of love and gift of sacrifice of the Cross, to avoid individualism and selfishness, help us willingly spend ourselves for the common good and to build a more just and fraternal world. Above all else, we must recover the primacy of God in our world and our lives said Benedict XVI Sunday, during Mass in Ancona for the conclusion of the Italian Eucharistic Congress. It was the second time for Pope Benedict to conclude an Italian Eucharistic Congress. The first time was June 29, 2005 in Bari, a few months after his election to the papacy.
