The End of the First Church: The Apostolic Commissioner Father Fidenzio Volpi will close the Franciscans of the Immaculate Institute at the Church of San Pasquale in Benevento, Italy. The decision was made in cooperation with the general secretary of the order Father Alfonso Bruno. This is a symbolic decision because the first community of the Franciscans of the Immaculate was founded in Benevento in 1990. The first 30 brothers made their vows there in that year. The friars were celebrating in this church the only Old Mass in the whole oft the Archdiocese of Benevento.
