More Vatican Bureaucracy: There is no streamlining of the Vatican curia but the opposite. According to the Vaticanist Sandro Magister new organisms are continually added to the existing ones. The latest is the Secretariat for Communication set up to oversee nine institutions. Magister comments: “At this pace the much-heralded reform of the curia will be a long time coming.” And: “Of new men put in the right spot - like Pietro Parolin in the Secretariat of State or George Pell in the Secretariat for the Economy - so far there have been very few.”
Against the Gospel: The official Vatican publishing house has produced a book with the results of a seminary organized this year by the Pontifical Council for the Family. It proposes a so called “via discretionis” in order to allow adulterors to receive Communion without conversion. Each diocese should appoint a priest for tutoring them.
