A long life: Sister Edna Ternes, a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Nazareth, has died at age 98. She was born during World War I, became a nun in the midst of the Great Depression and spent her life in social work. Sister entered her Congregation in July 1936. Sometime after the Second Vatican Council, she must have kicked her habit.
