Notre-Dame des Victoires, Refuge des Pécheurs - January 16th, 2026 | No Greater Delight
No Greater Delight is a daily Marian podcast meant to start the day with a Marian touch. After examining the Marian feasts celebrated throughout the world on a given day, Fr. Nate offers a brief reflection to help make our love for Our Lady concrete in daily living. The title "No Greater Delight" is inspired by a homily of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, wherein he expresses his joy in preaching about the Virgin Mother, even though he acknowledges the challenge of adequately praising her. Leo XIV Sends Best Wishes on Anniversary of Leftist Trash Paper 'Repubblica'

Pope Leo XIV sent a written message to the Italian anti-Church newspaper La Repubblica to mark its 50th anniversary.
It was founded by the atheist Eugenio Scalfari (1924–2022) and was Pope Francis’ house paper.
Historically La Repubblica was one of Italy’s largest daily newspapers, with peak print circulation in the late 1990s and 2000s, average daily sales of about 500,000 copies. Comparative data show La Repubblica being among the biggest losers in print over a decade. Mid-2025 reporting suggested an average daily sale slipping below 100,000.
The message of Leo XIV was addressed to the paper’s editor, Mario Orfeo, and was published by the newspaper.
Leo XIV praised what he believes is “independent journalism”. Then, he managed to mix the words “journalism” and “integrity” in one sentence: “Even amid diversity of opinions, points of view, and cultures, the press must always act with transparency and integrity.”
At least, Leo XIV doubled down on press freedom, calling it essential …More

Bishop Schneider has asked Pope Leo XIV to issue an apostolic constitution on the Latin Mass. Schneider suggests that this would completely lift the restrictions on the traditional rite. He met with Pope Leo in December.

Boanerges Boanerges

Schneider is flirting with becoming a collaborator. Collaborators are walking on thin ice. Judas was collaborating with Prevost of his age and it didn't end well for him.

The world does not want people who are mentally healthy, who can distinguish good from evil, and thus act according to the principle: yes — yes, no — no. The system cultivates those who react to what lies in between. The simple principles passed down to us by Jesus Christ are unacceptable, and the worst part is that this is true even for people who call themselves Christians.
No doctor and no pills will cure a lack of spiritual balance. A person becomes merely a perpetual patient of the healthcare system, which is good for the system but tragic in its consequences for the human being.
Today we have millions of Christians who have accepted faith only emotionally — emotions that are fleeting and susceptible to the influence of evil. Reason, lulled to sleep in people by media falsehood and omnipresent propaganda, has lost its significance. Thinking hurts so many that the later collision with truth often ends in depression and suicide.

Civilization of Death and Lies

Looking at the matter from a purely human perspective, assuming that people use reason and therefore logic. This assumption is admittedly lofty, because a human being will sooner follow fleeting emotions than reason and logic, but these are only theoretical considerations.
Who is Jesus Christ? A teacher, a brilliant psychologist in every field concerning our interior, that is, the soul. This is a fact, not some theological speculation. Two thousand years have passed, and science is still studying and trying to explain what He already conveyed to us and explained long ago.
Why does it take so long, if Jesus spoke simply and explained everything in parables for ordinary people?
First of all, people do not like simplicity. It seems to them that the more complicated something is, the more worthy of attention it must be. This is, of course, a lie and a deception of Satan.
There is one principle worth holding on to. Language that is simple and understandable to everyone comes from God. Let us …

Madrid Synod Proposes "Temporary Priesthood" and "Female Clergy"

The Archdiocese of Madrid promotes the so-called Convivium process, an official diocesan consultation involving clergy, parishes, religious communities and lay groups in Madrid, Spain.
According to InfoVaticana.com, the process was developed through consultation phases in 2024 and 2025, and is comparable with the German Synod. The Archdiocese of Madrid is currently led by the pro-homosexual Cardinal José Cobo.
Preparations have begun for the first Convivium-named Presbyteral Assembly, which is scheduled to take place in Madrid on 9–10 February 2026.
The archdiocese has recently distributed official working documents synthesising over 800 pages of submissions from parish pastoral councils, clergy, consecrated life and other ecclesial groups.
The archdiocesan synthesis includes a subsection labelled 'Peculiar Proposals'. This subsection cites contributions from groups who advocate optional priestly celibacy and propose a non-lifelong or 'temporary' priesthood. They also refer to 'future …More

CLINTONS ON THE LAM: Bill and Hillary Refuse Epstein Testimony as Prison Time for Contempt Looms

Bill and Hillary Clinton have refused to testify under oath in the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein — and now Congress is preparing to hit back with its most serious enforcement weapon: contempt of Congress, a move that in theory carries the possibility of fines and even jail time.
Oversight Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) announced Tuesday that he will move forward next week with contempt of Congress proceedings against Bill Clinton after Clinton failed to show for his scheduled deposition tied to the Epstein inquiry.
Legal representatives for both Clintons had informed Comer in an eight-page letter that neither former first family member would comply with the subpoenas compelling in-person testimony.

Woman says she got an abortion because of the ‘climate crisis’ – Allah's Willing Executioners

In a case that serves as a grim microcosm of our civilizational crisis, a 37-year-old UK woman aborted a baby she had desperately wanted because of “an intense fear for the future and the impact of the climate crisis.”
The unnamed woman wrote to the Guardian’s advice columnist Annalisa Barbieri, asking: “
I had an abortion due to climate anxiety. How can I come to terms with it?” The woman stated that she was “happily married and have two children” whom she loves dearly, but she “longed for a third” child.
“I’ve always cared about the climate crisis, and since after having kids, and knowing it will affect their lives more than mine, I became motivated to make changes,” she wrote. “We like a very ‘green’ life.” She and her husband successfully “tried” for a third child, and she became pregnant.
“Within a week I was wrought with an intense fear for the future and the impact of the climate crisis,” she continued. “I spoke to some friends, and at length to my husband, and had a …

Pope Saint Marcellus I - January 16
Also known as
Marcel
Marcelo
Memorial
16 January (Western calendar)
7 June (Eastern calendar)
Profile
Nothing of his life before the papacy has survived the centuries. Pope at the end of the persecutions of Diocletian; the persecutions had so disrupted the Church that there had been a gap of over a year with no Pope. Faced reconsituting the clergy which had been decimated and whose remnant had practiced their vocation covertly and with the expectation of martyrdom. Worked to recover and welcome back those who had denied the faith to keep from being murdered.
When a group people apostacized before and during a period of persection refused to do penance in order to return to the Church (they were known as the Lapsi), Marcellus refused to allow their return to the Church. This group had some political pull, and some caused such civil disruption that Emperor Maxentius exiled the Pope in order to settle the matter. Legend says that Marcellus …More

Blessed Elena Aiello - MESSAGES for our TIMES

Blessed Elena Aiello (1895-1961) -Mystic, Stigmatic, Victim Soul, Prophet & Foundress of the Minim Tertiaries of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ
Blessed Sister Elena Aiello would experience terrible sufferings through her life especially on GOOD FRIDAY. On one such Good Friday, APRIL 16, 1954, Sister Aiello stated she received the following concerning message for the world: Then the Madonna appeared to me. She was dressed in black, with seven swords piercing Her Immaculate Heart. Coming closer, with an expression of profound sorrow, and with tears on her cheeks, she spoke to me, saying: ‘Listen attentively, and reveal to all:
‘My Heart is sad for so many sufferings in an impending world in ruin. The justice of Our Father is most offended. Men live in their obstinacy of sin. The wrath of God is near. Soon the world will be afflicted with great calamities, bloody revolutions, frightful hurricanes, and the overflowing of streams and the seas’.

So much more going on behind the scenes people dont realize. Just to point out... KING FREDERICK X IS BLACK NOBILITY BLOODLINE Greenland is within the monarchy of the Kingdom of Denmark, in which King Frederick X is the head of state. King Frederik X is part of the Danish royal family, which belongs to the House of Glücksburg a branch connected to the wider Oldenburg dynasty, one of Europe’s most intertwined royal bloodlines. He attends WEF and Davos gatherings He’s connected to EU/NATO/global governance networks He supports climate policies, global warming, etc which are merely depopulation agendas. Taking Greenland is a massive move against the Royal Bloodlines. Of course this isn't the only reason but in my humble opinion, it is a KEY reason. Ye shall know them by their fruits

Gregory DiPippo: "One simply has to be willing to recognize the obvious truth, that the liturgical reform was not born out of Sacrosanctum Concilium. It was born out of the rejection of Sacrosanctum Concilium. The Church has paid an appallingly steep price for this rejection."

Cardinal Roche is Very, Very Worried

I am sure that by now, most of our readers have heard about the document circulated by His Eminence Arthur Cardinal Roche, prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship, during the recent consistory of all the cardinals called by Pope Leo. It was published yesterday on the Substack of Diane Montagna, who is also, I am sure, well-known to our readers as one of the best reporters on Church-related matters in Rome. Within a few hours of its publication, I had a message from Peter saying that it needs a thorough fisking; this was done immediately, and very ably, as always, by Fr Zuhlsdorf, and likewise, by Dr Gavin Ashenden and Dr Joseph Shaw. I thank them all for sparing me the necessity of doing it myself, and strongly recommend their commentary to all our readers.
But there are a few things about the text which I found striking, and on which I make bold to offer some commentary of my own.
The document begins with the general premise that “the history of the Liturgy ... is the history …

1st book of Samuel 8,4-7.10-22a.
All the elders of Israel came in a body to Samuel at Ramah
and said to him, "Now that you are old, and your sons do not follow your example, appoint a king over us, as other nations have, to judge us."
Samuel was displeased when they asked for a king to judge them. He prayed to the LORD, however,
who said in answer: "Grant the people's every request. It is not you they reject, they are rejecting me as their king.
Samuel delivered the message of the LORD in full to those who were asking him for a king.
He told them: "The rights of the king who will rule you will be as follows: He will take your sons and assign them to his chariots and horses, and they will run before his chariot.
He will also appoint from among them his commanders of groups of a thousand and of a hundred soldiers. He will set them to do his plowing and his harvesting, and to make his implements of war and the equipment of his chariots.
He will use your daughters as ointment-makers, as …
