By Baxter DmitryJanuary 22, 2026 Right outside the World Economic Forum’s gleaming conference halls, Marina Abramović—still carrying the stench of Spirit Cooking dinners and blood-smeared rituals—has parked her latest demonic “art” piece: THE BUS. As usual with Abramović, it’s a ritual, not an artistic statement. It’s a repurposed classic yellow school bus, the kind that once carried innocent kids to class, now gutted and turned into a rolling chamber of enforced silence for the world’s most powerful predators. Photos show the exterior still screaming “school bus”—bright yellow paint, those iconic black-rimmed windows—but the front windshield? Replaced with a massive glowing screen that cycles through hypnotic colors: deep reds bleeding into sickly yellows, blues that feel like drowning. Step inside, and the game changes. World leaders …

The share of adults identifying as Catholic has declined sharply across much of Latin America over the past decade. The number of people with no religious affiliation has risen, according to a January 21 Pew Research Center report. This marks a shift in a region where more than 90% of people were Catholic around 1900. The report, Catholicism Has Declined in Latin America Over the Past Decade is based on surveys of more than 6,200 adults in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru conducted in spring 2024. Comparing the results with a similar 2013–14 survey, Pew found that the Catholic share fell by at least 9 percentage points in all six countries. Today, Catholics make up 46% of adults in Brazil and Chile, 58% in Argentina, 60% in Colombia, and 67% in both Mexico and Peru. A decade ago, all six countries had Catholic majorities of roughly six-in-ten or more adults. This report from the Pew Research Center is yet another reason for us, as Catholics, to "go all out." Is there still anyone who doubts that Vatican II was a failure? and that the time is near? and that it's better to be prepared...
Leftist women and their Romper Room mentality: Whether it’s the newest entrant into the Star Trek world or a day in court, leftist women, with their relentless faux “mommy-ness” demean our world.
One of my earliest memories dates to when I was three or, at most, four. Every day, I was glued to our black-and-white TV watching Romper Room, a television show for preschoolers. Miss Nancy opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and then conducted a 30-minute preschool class. This is what Miss Nancy was like back in the 1960s: It’s very sweet, very loving, very patriotic, and very appropriate for the 3-5-year-old set. But what happens when an entire political party is taken over by a horde of Miss Nancys? And worse, what happens when those Miss Nancys don’t focus their energy on raising normal, patriotic children (indeed, they want fewer children in the world, and think infanticide through abortion is brilliant), and instead want to use their warped maternal longings to scold and dominate the world? Well, to begin with, you have Holly Hunter in the new Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which is being roundly castigated as the worst show ever in a swiftly declining franchise. Once, Starfleet …

“I COULDN’T BREATHE!” ICE BRUTALIZES Photographer Covering Protests Independent reporter Zach D Roberts was LIVE ON THE GROUND covering ICE protests in Minneapolis on January 15th, 2026 when ICE agents attacked unarmed protesters with tear gas, pepper balls, and other chemical ammunition. In this video, Roberts speaks with independent photographer John Abernathy soon after he was tackled by ICE agents, pinned to the ground, and had pepper spray released into his face. The unprovoked attack left Abernathy with bruises on across his body and a bloodshot eye. John Abernathy, a photographer from Minneapolis, was flat on the ground. He had the knees of at least one federal officer on his back. He heard someone shouting to put his hands behind his back, but his arms were half pinned beneath him. He was surrounded by dozens of officers deploying something ― tear gas, he thinks ― that made it hard to see or breathe. He felt like he could puke or pass out. He feared what might happen if federal …More
Instaurare Omnia in Christo Abernathy, who previously did photography work for advertisements and magazines, said he set out to document the protests over Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s crackdown in Minneapolis and the killing of Renee Good “just to show what’s happening to whoever might see it.” Lavie, a member of the National Press Photographers Association from Dallas, had come from New Orleans, where he was also capturing ICE activity, to cover the unrest. Morning Prayer Lord, at the beginning of this day, I come to ask You for health, strength, peace, and wisdom. I want to look at the world today with eyes full of love, to be patient, understanding, gentle and prudent; to see, beyond appearances, Your children as You Yourself see them, and thus see only the good in each one. Close my ears to all slander. Guard my tongue from all evil. May my spirit be filled only with blessings. May I be so kind and joyful, that all who approach me may feel Your presence. Lord, clothe me in Your beauty, and may I, throughout this day, reveal You to everyone. Amen.
Bishop Robert Mutsaerts Wikimedia Commons, Danny Gerrits, CC-BY-SA 4.0 Dutch Bishop Robert Mutsaerts has criticized liberal theology as a great “danger that comes from within” to the Catholic Church. In an article on his blog published in early January, the auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of ‘s-Hertogenbosch cited Catholic author Hilaire Belloc, who wrote that he did not fear “’the barbarians at the gates,’ but rather the danger that comes from within.” “I would now like to address liberal theologians and believers. Not to accuse them, but to invite them to reconsider,” Mutsaerts wrote, adding, “If Belloc was right, and if he were to speak to us today, he might say: Christianity in Europe is not threatened by secularization alone, but by a theology that no longer trusts its own core.” He noted that in Germany, the problem is not external threats but the German bishops themselves, who “have published a document (‘Segen gibt der Liebe Kraft’) that offers pastoral guidelines for …
Thousands Gather in Paris to Protest Euthanasia and Abortion Legislation | Shalom World News On Sunday, January 18, hundreds of demonstrators filled the streets of Paris for the annual March for Life, raising their voices against France’s abortion and assisted dying laws. With placards held high, they urged lawmakers to defend the sanctity of life as the nation braced for heated debates over amendments to the end-of-life bill. The demonstration unfolded against a backdrop of national soul-searching about falling birth rates, abortion rights, and the future of medical assistance in dying. In a powerful public appeal, French Catholic bishops called on lawmakers to reject the proposed legalization of euthanasia and assisted suicide, warning that such a move would endanger society’s most vulnerable and erode the respect owed to every human being. The bill, already passed by the National Assembly in May 2025 and soon to be debated by the Senate, would grant gravely ill adults a new “right …More

ABOUT PRAYERS & ADORATION St. John 4: 23-24: “But the hour will come-in fact it is here already when true worshipers, will worship the Father in spirit and truth: that is the kind of worshiper the Father wants. God is Spirit, and those who worship must worship in spirit and truth." 2) St Mathew 6,6: “But when you pray, go to your private room and, when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in that secret place, and your Father who sees all that is done in secret will reward you”. 3) Isaiah 26, 20: “Go into your rooms, my people, shut your doors behind you. Hide yourselves a little while until the wrath has passed” 4) Jeremiah 33:3: “Call to me and I will answer you; I will tell you great mysteries of which you know nothing”. 5) Romans 8, 26: “The Spirit too comes to help us in our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we ought, the Spirit himself expresses our plea in a way that could never be put into words”. 6) Galatians 5, 22-23: “The fruit of the Spirit is …More

Mary Live with Dr. Mark Miravalle: "They Have Lost the Meaning of Sacrifice" What does an underground Chinese bishop who has spent 25 years in Communist Chinese prisons say about Communism, Our Lady of Fatima, and Western culture's effect on the Christian "meaning of sacrifice"? Check out this edition of "Mary Live" with Dr. Mark Miravalle.
7 Sorrows Of China (Mark Miravalle) 7 Sorrows Of China $9.95 “In the most difficult periods of the recent history of the Catholic Church in China, the lay faithful, both as individuals and families and as members of spiritual and apostolic movements, have shown total fidelity to the Gospel, even paying a personal price for their faithfulness to Christ” – Pope Benedict XVI Mark Miravalle’s intense experiences as he travels through modern China provide a realistic picture of life outside of Beijing. He vividly recalls his recent trip traveling through China detailing the daily struggles of the Catholic faithful. Dr. Miravalle’s concise elegant writing style delivers a seven-image portrait of today’s China. A portrait that conflicts with the commercialized images of a recently liberated country, but a portrait that remains hopeful anyway.
Instaurare Omnia in Christo A photograph shows Cardinal Zen, also now 92, at a Hong Kong demonstration in 2015 petitioning for Bishop Su. That year, the bishop’s nephew was assured that authorities would report on the disappeared bishop if Vatican relations improved. The Vatican-China agreement was signed in 2018 and twice renewed, without news. In 2020, Rep. Smith held hearings, entitled “Where is Bishop Su?” Beijing’s response was to impose sanctions on Smith. Some say that Bishop Su is dead, but there is no evidence. To be sure, the CCP wants him forgotten. It fears and won’t tolerate any religious freedom or dissent. As a Baoding priest said, “The influence of Bishop Fan or Bishop Su is actually the spirit of the older generation that affects us, encourages us and inspires us.” For these reasons, Catholics in the United States and around the world should not forget him, either.
