Jesuit-Run Center in Spain Hosts Major Yoga Congress

Monasteries and spiritual centers in Spain are increasingly hosting yoga congresses and New Age-inspired events.
The latest controversy emerged at the Castle of Javier in Navarra - the birthplace of St. Francis Xavier and a Jesuit-run spiritual center. It hosted the XII Iberian Yoga Congress organized by the Spanish Yoga Federation (FEYS) from May 1–3. Around 250 participants attended workshops featuring mantra concerts, Eastern spirituality, meditation, and yoga practices.
Images show participants meditating before Jesus Christ placed alongside figures of Buddha and Krishna.
Activities reportedly included sessions titled “Awakening of the Soul,” “Essene Mantras,” and “108 Sun Salutations.”
According to InfoVaticana, similar gatherings have also been held at Catholic properties such as the Marist monastery of Las Avellanas, the Franciscan sanctuary of Aránzazu, and the Teresian-Sanjuanist International Center in Ávila.
At the same time, Spain continues to experience a sharp decline …More

MARIO CALIGIURI: THE VATICAN AND INTELLIGENCE (2026)
“AN AMERICAN IN ROME”: MORLION
Prologue
The last episode on the “Morlion Case” concluded with the “First Section” of the “Second Chapter”.
In it I based myself on the essay by Giacomo Pacini, contained in the book edited by Mario Caligiuri, The Vatican and Intelligence, Soveria Mannelli, Rubbettino, 2026 (pp. 59-79).
Since the material covered in detail by Giacomo Pacini is very vast, I stopped at page 66 of his interesting and well-documented essay.
In this “Third Chapter” I continue (in a “Second Section”) to delve deeper into what Pacini explained to us starting from page 66 and arrive at the last page of his essay (p. 79).
Finally, I allow myself to add an "Appendix" to this "Third Chapter", based on a conference on Father Morlion held at the Basilica of Santa Maria sopra Minerva in Rome, on January 18, 2020, by Dominican Father Riccardo Lufrani (a fellow friar of Father Morlion, who in Rome – from 1944 to 1987 – resided –…

Digging into denialism: Emily Enns wins the 2026 Peter Mansbridge Investigative Writing Award

The Master of Journalism student earned the award for investigating the roots of residential school denialism and highlighting Indigenous resilience through on-the-ground reporting in Kamloops, B.C.
When Emily Enns began exploring a story about the replacement of existing Canadian street names with Indigenous ones for her second-year
Master of Journalism (MJ) investigative journalism project, she did not expect it to lead her into one of the nation’s more contentious historical debates.
While researching, she came across an online rant opposing street-name changes in Winnipeg. What surprised her was not the content but that it was written by a professor at her alma mater, the University of Manitoba (UM). Curious, she began looking more closely at the professor’s work, which led her to writings that downplayed the impact of the residential school system.
Enns soon discovered that some of the most visible disseminators of residential school denialism were not fringe commentators but …

In Canada, you now get a journalism award for making sure the myth of a mass grave at a residential school is true. It was genocide. Denialism of the myth is the woke journalistic sin. Don’t be Canada.

THE EVIL OF THE BRITISH LABOUR PARTY CRIES OUT TO HEAVEN.

Say No to Labour’s ‘Summer of Sex’.
The Labour Party is attempting a radical transformation and degradation of our society’s foundational values. How? Through a new initiative, they are calling the ‘Summer of Sex’.

Labour MP Samantha Niblett recently launched her “lifelong learning” project with the backing of adult entertainment and adult “toy” industries. This project aims to radically overhaul education and reshape public discourse around intimacy.

Niblett’s main partner and advisor in the campaign is ‘sex educator’ and pornography site owner Cindy Gallop, who publicly boasts about enjoying hardcore adult content and believes that children as young as 8 should be taught the ‘joys of sexual pleasure’.
Their plan is alarming: to expose people of all ages to adult content in a ‘positive way’ and teach how people how to derive pleasure from their own …More

There is no single “gay gene,” a new study found. Instead, sexual orientation is like most other human traits, influenced by a complex mix of genetics and environment.

Two dozen of homosexual vigils are scheduled in Italian dioceses for May and June, reports LaNuovaBq.it on May 8.

Ambrosiaster (Catena Bible Romans1)
AD 400
Those who knew by the law of nature that God requires righteousness realized that these things were displeasing to God, but they did not want to think about it, because those who do such things are worthy of death, and not only those who do them but those who allow them to be done, for consent is participation. Their wickedness is double, for those who do such things but prevent others are not so bad, because they realize that these things are evil and do not justify them. But the worst people are those who do these things and approve of others doing them as well, not fearing God but desiring the increase of evil. They do not seek to justify them either, but in their case it is because they want to persuade people that there is nothing wrong in doing them. Commentary on Paul’s Epistles

Jordan Peterson on a truth that should humble all of us: “I’ve never seen anyone get away with anything. Not even once.” You might twist the fabric of reality for a while — bend the rules, cut corners, play games — but it always snaps back. Sometimes years later, in ways you never saw coming. That’s why “the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.” Not terror, but deep respect for the order of things.

On Friday, Leo XIV. visited Naples Cathedral. Shortly before his arrival, the blood of Saint Januarius reportedly liquefied off-schedule. The miracle traditionally occurs three times a year and has also been linked to earlier papal visits, including that of Pius IX in 1848. During visits by John Paul II in 1979 and Benedict XVI in 2007, the miracle did not occur. Francis witnessed a partial liquefaction in 2015.

Susie Wiles’ Email Demanding WH Staffers Stop Leaking to Press Is Leaked to Press
An email from President Trump’s White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles ordering staff to stop leaking to the press was leaked to the press on Friday.
In the directive, written in late March and obtained by Politico’s West Wing Playbook, Wiles warned that “no staff member within the Executive Office of the President is permitted to speak with members of the news media without the explicit approval of the White House Communications Office.”
“Unauthorized leaks will not be tolerated and are subject to sanction up to and including termination,” she continued.
She added: “Violation of this policy can result in significant disruption to ongoing operations and can potentially endanger missions and activities of national significance.”
One person familiar told Politico that Wiles had become “generally very frustrated with leaks,” though the directive was not tied to any single incident.
The crackdown is …
