Pope Leo XIV has reversed most of Francis’ administrative reforms for the Fabbrica di San Pietro and the Chapter of Santa Maria Maggiore, IlMessaggero.it reports. Leo XIV is placing both institutions under the stricter oversight by the Vatican’s Council for the Economy, applying standard rules to major administrative decisions. The autonomy for construction, restoration and artistic projects of the two basilicas had drawn criticism.

Leo XIV takes control over the management of the Fabbrica di San Pietro and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore by nullifying most of the administrative changes introduced by his predecessor Francesco with a motu proprio from June 2024 for San Pietro, and another from March this year for Santa Maria Maggiore. This latter act was signed by Gemelli a month before his death. Pope Prevost intervened after listening to experts, taking notes, and consulting internally with the Secretariat for the Economy, thus signing a new motu proprio titled 'Regarding the Applicable Norms for the Fabbrica di San Pietro' which sets a real shift for two important curial realities that have recently been at the center of murmurs and protests for excessive autonomy…
…The Fabbrica is very crucial because it handles the contracts for the necessary works for the construction and artistic realization of the largest basilica in the world, as well as all the related structures. In 2022, after a brief period of …More

Song of False Freedom
There was the Mass of de Mendoza,
New Orleans, Frisco by the sea,
but on the dies lacrimosa
you gave your freedom
for your liberty.
Yes, there were Huns and even worse,
you made pacts,
you waged wars with them,
who did you fight for,
what did you die for:
the City of God or the waste of men?
New men were bred with brand new fiber,
Potomac made it to the Rhine,
pushing it down into the Tiber,
the Sun went black
and ceased to shine.
Many got blind and could not see,
elders told fables to the youth...
Now ruin is at hand,
it's time to make a stand,
not for the ghost of democracy
but for the Spirit of Truth.

Her name was Lisa Gherardini, born in Florence in 1479 to a noble yet modest Tuscan family. She lived a life like many women of her time—married young to a wealthy textile merchant named Francesco del Giocondo, raising five children in a Renaissance city that pulsed with art, commerce, and faith.
But fate had something extraordinary in store.
Sometime around 1503, the great Leonardo da Vinci was commissioned to paint her portrait. It was likely intended as a gift from her husband, not a masterpiece for the world. Lisa sat patiently as Leonardo worked—not knowing that her gentle smile, calm gaze, and subtle mystery would echo across centuries.
The painting, known today as La Gioconda in Italy and Mona Lisa across the globe, became more than just a portrait. It became a phenomenon. For centuries, her true identity remained a puzzle, sparking debate and legend. But modern research confirmed what many suspected: the woman behind the world’s most famous smile was indeed Lisa Gherardini.

Of course we wouldn't want a "safe pair of hands lacking in imagination" as a church leader - much rather have someone "exciting"! Yeah, that's the ticket... 🤪 😋

WOW
Both the person who drew the new Prop 50 Redistricting Maps and the California Legislature said the purpose of them drawing the maps the way they did was to “increase the power of Latino voters” while taking away voting power from white people and other races INSANE “We have filed this lawsuit because the map enacted in Proposition 50 for California's congressional districts is unconstitutional.
The map is designed to favor one race of California voters over others. This violates the 14th Amendment's guarantee of equal protection under the law, and the right under the 15th Amendment to not have one's vote abridged on account of race. When drawing the Proposition 50 map, the chief consultant who drew the map has stated that the first thing that he did was to increase the power of Latino voters.
Additionally, the state legislature has announced that the maps increase the power of Latino voters. — We have seen with Prop 50, these maps, they are …

Cardinal Brandmüller: Roman Rite Was Not Perfect, Liturgical Reform Needs Proper Implementation

Curia Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, 96, one of the last witnesses of the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965), spoke with Katholisch.de on November 13. Key points.
- During the Council, many were electrified.
- The Council did not bring the hoped-for new vitality to the Church.
- In the years following the Council, the Church in Germany and other countries went downhill to an extent that had been unimaginable before.
- After the Council, a great deal was called into question. Suddenly, nothing seemed to be valid anymore.
- Theological faculties no longer taught truly Catholic theology.
- The Zeitgeist took hold of the results of the Council and reinterpreted them. Mostly, only “the spirit of the Council” was quoted.
- “But actually”, the Council produced very good results.
- The Council’s principles of liturgical reform were good and right.
- The so-called Tridentine Mass is by no means perfect. There are some things that need to be corrected.
- What later led to the split of the “…More

Nostra Aetate and Lumen Gentium are heretical and apostate documents. They promote the heresy of religious indifferentism. The heretics who infiltrated the Council rendered it heretical because it contains heretical documents fabricated by homosexual heretics, such as Nostra Aetate, upon which the post-conciliar ecumenical apostasy is based.

Golly, not the old trope: "the [2nd Vatican] Council hasn't REALLY BEEN IMPLEMENTED yet. You wait and see, when it is we'll have that "new Pentecost/Springtime of the Church." Yeah, pull the other one... 60+ years of devastation, and they think "reforming harder" will be the grand fix. Just like those delusional Commies in our midst!
