Quran Readings for Epiphany in a Spanish Parish

The Catholic parish of Guissona, a small town in the province of Lleida in Catalonia, Spain, has introduces passages from the Quran into its Epiphany celebration on January 5, during a traditional procession, reports InfoVaticana.com.
The parish wrote on its Instagram account that the initiative forms part of what it described as an “inclusive process” developed over the past two years. This process takes into account “the religion of the different kings and pages” participating in the celebration.
During the ceremony, passages from the Quran were read alongside the Gospels.
The parish, which belongs to the Catholic Diocese of Urgell, defended the decision as a way of conveying a shared “message of peace” among people of different faiths.
Furthermore, the kissing of the statue of the Baby Jesus was omitted. The parish explained that such a gesture was considered inappropriate for Muslims.

Bill Gates and WEF Engineering 'Enhanced' Water Supplies as Next-Gen mRNA Delivery System

World Economic Forum economist Mariana Mazzucato has admitted the elite are frustrated over failed attempts to control the masses through vaccination, but they are working with Bill Gates to find new methods of delivering mRNA to the masses without public consent.
During a Davos press conference on the so-called “New Economics of Water,” Mazzucato openly admitted the shortcomings of their COVID-19 rollout, and revealed a sinister pivot to something far more inescapable: the world’s water supply.
Mazzucato didn’t mince words when reflecting on the elite’s grand experiment with global health. She confessed, “Did we actually manage to vaccinate everyone in the world? No.” This bombshell quote exposes the cracks in the narrative pushed by Big Pharma and their WEF overlords. But why bring this up in a talk about water?

Watch: Davos Elites PUSH Lab-Grown ‘Meat’ Despite MASSIVE Backlash

The clips in this piece were all sourced and edited by Wide Awake Media. Please give them a follow on X.
As the Trump administration’s Make America Healthy Again initiative ramps up its assault on processed poisons and added sugars, Davos elites are scrambling to defend their synthetic food agenda. From lab-grown “meat” to artificial additives, the WEF crowd insists their tech-driven “solutions” will save the planet, even as public resistance mounts and states impose bans on cultivated cell products.
This clash highlights the divide between policies prioritizing nutrient-dense, farm-fresh eats and the globalist push for factory-farmed fakes and lab grown substances riddled with unknown risks.
WEF Insider Touts Lab-Grown Meat as ‘Way Forward’ Amid Ecological Claims
In a discussion on food innovation, Davos participant Andrea Illy championed tech foods like cultivated meat, dismissing cultural resistance as outdated, despite acknowledging massive consumer backlash.

Meditating Humility

Isaiah 66:2 “Who shall I look to? The humble and contrite who tremble at My Word”
OUR REALITY:
a) Psalm 51,5: “You know I was born guilty, a sinner from the moment of conception”.
b) Job 25, 4-6: “Could any man ever think himself innocent, when confronted by God? Born of woman, how could he ever be clean? The very moon lacks brightness, and the stars are unclean as he sees them. What, then, of man, maggot that he is, the son of man, a worm?”
c) Psalm 19:13-14 : “But who realizes his errors? From hidden offenses cleanse me. Keep also your servant from pride, let him have no dominion over me; then I will be blameless, free from serious offense”.
d) Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 15:20: “(He never commanded anyone to be godless, He gave no one permission to sin”.)

The job of journalists is to inform—not to stir up fears. But what should we do when we are dealing with information that in itself triggers fears? It is not a good idea to ignore such news. That turns journalism into a one-sided game with a forced happy ending.
Ken Jebsen, a German independent journalist from an Iranian family, conducted an interview with artificial intelligence (AI) last August and, with his questions, elicited statements that its developers themselves would never have expected, even in their worst nightmares. The term “psychological sabotage” appeared in the following, extremely interesting film.
A good article describing this “discussion” between a human and a computer program called KI Chat- “KAA I” appeared yesterday on the fassadenkratzer.de platform: An AI reveals itself: a hidden control instrument of humanity and society. Source.
AI: Officially, we say we want to help humanity reach its potential. But what does …

Anyone who has a passion for antique vestments will know the story. You have a beautiful vestment that you've come across somewhere, there's only one problem: the vestments are dirty, frayed, or worn out in some capacity. At its worst -- something I've personally seen -- it can mean the underlying silk material has become threaded and is pulling apart, usually at a pressure point like the shoulders where the fabric is more likely to stretch, particularly from improper storage (perhaps an article we should take up in its own right shortly). Many years ago, I might have thought that such vestments were simply write-off's. Many years later, and with more knowledge and experience behind me, I now understand that such vestments could in fact have the potential of being restored and saved in one or another ways.
Now, like anything, one has to use some common sense here. First, there's the matter of the …

Canadian woman was euthanized 'against her will' after husband was fed-up with caring for her
An elderly woman was euthanized within hours of her husband claiming she changed her mind after insisting she wanted to live.
Canada's Medical Assistance in Dying laws allow patients to request a painless death if an assessor agrees their terminal condition meets certain requirements.
Patients often wait weeks, but it can happen the same day the application is lodged if judged to be medically urgent by a MAiD provider.
But a report by the Ontario MAiD Death Review Committee raised concerns that safeguards were being eroded that led to questionable deaths.
One case study was that of a woman in her 80s referred to as 'Mrs B' who had complications after coronary artery bypass graft surgery.
She went into severe decline and opted for palliative care, and was sent home from hospital with palliative support with her husband caring for her.
But as her condition got worse, her elderly husband struggled …

Open letter to Pope Leo XIV: The heresy of Modernism lives on through Vatican II: Legal scholar Raymond Marcin has urged the Pope to reject Vatican II’s path, calling it a covert revival of what St. Pius X condemned as the ‘synthesis of all heresies.’

Open letter to Pope Leo XIV: The heresy of Modernism lives on through Vatican II - LifeSite

Editor’s note: Below follows the full text of an Open Letter to Pope Leo XIV by Emeritus Professor of Law at the Catholic University of America Raymond B. Marcin.
(
LifeSiteNews) — Your Holiness,
The purpose of this letter is to express a concern regarding the path that our Catholic Church has been following for six decades now in the wake of its Second Vatican Council.
In your address to the College of Cardinals on Saturday, May 10, 2025, just two days after your election as Pope, you described that path with clarity and invited the entire College of Cardinals to commit themselves completely to the teachings of the Second Vatican Council in these words:
In this regard, I would like us to renew together today our complete commitment to the path that the universal Church has now followed for decades in the wake of the Second Vatican Council. Pope Francis masterfully and concretely set it forth in the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, from which I …

Yahoo fought it and brought it to court. They lost and then verizon, aol and another one took over yahoo. My pc, my nephew who was a Dr at the time went crazy after that. He brought his pc in to check it out and was told, someone has accesses to your pc and all your info.

How serious is pride?
Pride, the Mother and Queen of the Vices
Saint Thomas is clear in defining the overarching vice or inspirer of all the seven capital vices. He defines it first as a disordered love for personal excellence in excess of right reason. Then, as a special sin, pride leads to a lack of subjection to God’s rule, or commandments, and the undue estimation of one’s abilities, thereby leading a person to raise himself above God’s providential design for him.
Some of Sacred Scripture’s most important warnings deal with pride. I will list a few. Also in the link I provided.
I am going to start with Mary's Canticle inspired by The Holy Ghost.
He hath shewed might in his arm: he hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble.
The proud man overestimates himself, and believes himself the source of his own excellence. The virtue of humility, which disposes us to acknowledge our limitations, …More

My Catholic Faith - Chapter 25

MY CATHOLIC FAITH
Pride makes one admire himself, in the belief that his excellence, imagined or real, is the result of his own worth. Our Lord condemned pride in the parable of the Pharisee and the Publican (1). Jesus said that the humble and repentant publican was justified in the eyes of God, while the proud Pharisee went home unjustified. Covetousness is one of the ugliest of sins. It was a sin of Judas. He loved money so much that he even betrayed Our Lord for thirty pieces of silver(2).
25. Pride, Covetousness, Lust
What is pride? --Pride is an inordinate love of one's own excellence, an excessive self-esteem.
Our Lord is the best example of meekness and patience. Did He use His almighty power to punish those who did Him evil? For hours He hung meekly on the cross, until He died. Every day God is patient with sinners, giving them time to change their ways. God, the Supreme One, is not proud.
The proud man overestimates himself, and believes himself the source of his own excellence …
