So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.

Stay With Jesus Through Every Storm
The apostles, struggling against a storm on the Sea of Galilee, mistake Jesus walking on water for a ghost. Jesus reassures them, revealing his divine identity with “I am,” the same name God gave to Moses. This story, along with Peter’s brief walk on water, emphasizes the importance of keeping our focus on Jesus during life’s storms, as he will always be there to guide and support us.
The story of Elijah at Mount Sinai highlights the importance of staying focused on God amidst chaos and fear. Despite Elijah’s past successes, he succumbed to fear and ran away, but God still found him and spoke to him in a whisper. The key to navigating life’s storms is to remain rooted in prayer, keep our focus on the Lord, and trust in His presence, even when He seems distant.

WHAT DOES CARDINAL BURKE SAY IS MOST NEEDED FOR MARRIAGES TO THRIVE? | SG News
Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke has issued a powerful call for Catholics to courageously defend the sanctity of Holy Matrimony and the family, even when faced with ridicule, rejection, or cultural pressure. Preaching at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin, during the Feast of St. James the Greater, the cardinal urged the faithful to embrace what the Church has long described as "white martyrdom"—a life of faithful witness through sacrifice rather than bloodshed. Reflecting on the Christian vocation to holiness, Cardinal Burke emphasized that marriage is not merely a human institution but a sacred sacrament rooted in Christ's sacrificial love for His Church. Referencing the enduring teachings of St. John Paul II and the continuing discussions surrounding Amoris Laetitia, he encouraged Catholic families to remain steadfast in the Church's teaching on the permanence and dignity of marriage. 📢More

Rome Cardinal Cancels Funeral of Prominent Freemason

Cardinal Baldassarre Reina, Vicar General for the Diocese of Rome, refused permission for the Catholic funeral of Bruno Battisti D’Amario, a guitarist and senior figure in Italian freemasonry.
D’Amario, who died on August 5 aged 88, was known for his collaboration with Ennio Morricone and played guitar on famous soundtracks including A Fistful of Dollars, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, and Once Upon a Time in the West.
His funeral had initially been approved at Santa Maria in Montesanto, Rome’s “Church of the Artists.”
After his death, however, the Grand Orient of Italy revealed that D’Amario had held significant roles within freemasonry. He had founded a Roman lodge, composed the organization’s official anthem, and held several senior positions.
Church officials had allegedly been unaware of his Masonic involvement when approving the funeral.
After the information emerged, the basilica’s rector, Archbishop Antonio Staglianò, referred the matter to Cardinal Reina. Following consultation …More

A Peruvian writer involves Prevost in "almost spy-like" methods alongside journalists Salinas and Ugaz

Almost-Spy Operation: Prevost's Intrigues in Peru

On 4 August, Peruvian essayist Santiago Roncagliolo, in a lengthy interview with Daniel Titinger, described Leo XIV's behind-the-scenes methods as Bishop Robert Prevost of Chiclayo, Peru.
According to Roncagliolo, Prevost quietly built coalitions, divided opponents, managed information, and preferred discreet political action to public confrontation. Roncagliolo is broadly sympathetic to Leo XIV.
"As a character to narrate he was a nightmare. He has no phrases, no scenes, no gestures. You ask the sources: 'What did Prevost say at that dramatic and crucial moment?' 'Nothing, I think'.'"
Weakening Opus Dei from Within
Interviewer Titinger described Prevost as "a Trojan horse": "He understands the adversary, doesn't confront him openly, but disables him from within. He's always quiet; that's why he wasn't well known."
Roncagliolo does not reject the characterization and discusses Prevost in those terms.
He also explains how Prevost weakened Opus Dei: "Prevost divided Opus Dei. He offered …More

Leo XIV-Appointed Bishop Ends Diocese’s Only Latin Mass After 20 Years

Bishop Mark A. Eckman, 67, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will bring an end to the traditional Latin Mass at St. Titus Church in Aliquippa after nearly 20-years.
Bishop Eckman was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Pittsburgh in 2021. In June 2025, Leo XIV promoted him to Bishop of Pittsburgh.
In a letter dated 7 August (see below), Monsignor Eckman announced that the final Mass to be held at St. Titus using the 1962 Missal is scheduled for 4 September.
The remaining two traditional Latin Masses in Pittsburgh are offered by the Institute Christ the King in Brighton Heights and by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X in the West End.
Bishop Eckman said his predecessor, Bishop David A. Zubik, received Vatican permission in 2022 to continue the Mass at St. Titus. The initial two-year authorization was extended in September 2024 for another two years.
The Bishop didn't seek another extension, “The permission to celebrate according to the older ritual in a parish church was only ever meant to be …More

He really does not think that the Novus Ordo Mass is better and more Catholic. He is afraid of competition. He thinks the NOM can't compete. If he really thought that the NOM was better and more adapted to the modern mentality he would want everybody to experience the TLM so they could see how inferior it is compared to the NOM. It seem that he thinks that the NOM is an inferior product that needs protection from competition. Having 60 years of almost complete Novus Ordo monopoly is not enough? Monopolies create weakness. Competition makes men and institutions strong.

[DE↓] 🤥 Trump’s Pentagon reshapes nuclear warfare, opening the door to Armageddon

The Trump administration is crafting a new nuclear strategy aimed at giving the president more “credible” options to use short-range tactical nuclear weapons in a regional conflict with Russia or China, NBC reports.
The doctrine is being shaped by Pentagon policy chief Elbridge Colby, a long-time advocate of expanding the role of tactical nuclear weapons. His argument is that smaller, lower-yield warheads could be used against battlefield forces and military targets rather than cities.
👉 That distinction sounds reassuring until you get to the obvious problem: once nuclear weapons are treated as usable battlefield tools, the line separating conventional war from nuclear war gets much thinner.
Critics warn that broadening their role could normalize nuclear weapons use and lower the threshold for escalation.
China has accused Washington of "normalizing" nuclear use on the battlefield, warning that the US push for tactical nuclear weapons completely underestimates the risk of retaliation …More

Oh! So much to say about this beast. So many things I warned about. They either happened, was confirmed by their own forked tongues or in the making now. But I will waste my time because they still defend the beast with the forked tongue. Most of us already know he is a beast with a forked tongue. The rest will have their little bubble burst in their face soon enough.
