Leo XIV today appointed Monsignor Carlo Roberto Maria Redaelli, 69, until now Archbishop of Gorizia, Italy, as Secretary of the Dicastery for the Clergy.
Carlo Roberto Maria Redaelli (born 1956 in Milan) is an Italian prelate and canon lawyer who served for many years in the Archdiocese of Milan before becoming Archbishop of Gorizia in 2012. He holds a doctorate in canon law from the Pontifical Gregorian University, where he specialized in the nature of Church law in the post–Vatican II period.

In June 2017, in Staranzano, a small town in the Diocese of Gorizia, a leader of the Catholic Scout movement (AGESCI) entered into a homosexual civil union.

A man who was appealing his rejected asylum claim has been sentenced to seven years in prison after being found guilty of raping a young woman in her own home.
Chret Callender, 28, from Trinidad, was staying at an asylum hotel when he raped the woman after a night out in Bournemouth in June last year.

Madrid Seminary Halfheartedly Denies Pro-Homosexual Training

The seminary of Madrid has denied a pro-homosexual training program, but InfoVaticana.com stands by its original report.
The sessions were taught by Rev. Jesús Sastre García in November. He is affiliated with the pro-homosexual association Crismhom as a spiritual director.
