José Camilo Arbeláez Montoya was appointed Bishop of Vélez (Santander) on 14 November 2025. Born in Bogotá in 1961, he first studied veterinary medicine, before entering seminary in Medellín. Dozulé Is 'Not Supernatural': Tucho Fernández, Pope Leo XIV's Prefect of the Dicastery for the "Doctrine of the Faith" has confirmed the decision of the Bishop of Bayeux-Lisieux that the alleged apparitions in Haute-Butte de Dozulé, France, are 'non-supernatural', meaning that they do not have 'an authentic divine origin'. They were claimed by Madeleine Aumont between 1972 and 1978. The message of Dozulé is the request to build a 738-metre-high, 123-metre-wide luminous cross, called the Glorious Cross, which would be visible from afar as a symbol of universal redemption and a sign of the allegedly imminent return of Christ.

It would be interesting to ask a legit canonist if the sacrament was actually conferred. In my mind, I would wonder if this man had proper intent. Was he "joining" the Church for reasons of the actual Faith or to make some political statement or attention-seeking stunt?

Longtime high school history teacher Jim McMurtry was suspended in May 2021 after commenting on unmarked graves at Indigenous residential schools while teaching at Robert Bateman Secondary School in Abbotsford, British Columbia. During a class discussion, he mentioned that most deaths in Indigenous residential schools were due to disease. A student complained, and the school district ruled that his comments were "inappropriate". McMurtry knows that his statements were historically accurate and argues that he was dismissed for challenging widely accepted narratives. He was officially fired on February 21, 2025.
'Confirmed' into what, precisely? While we cannot judge the souls of one another, that it has been staged as a 'public event' (with the ever 'publicity addicted' James Martin in attendance) rather than a private and personal one speaks volumes about what it was actually about.
It's blindly obvious for "those who have eyes to see" that a so-called 'church' that confirms people like this is NOT the True Catholic Church founded by Jesus Christ and built on apostolic teaching!
