+Athanasius Schneider told Robert Moynihan that he disagrees with Víctor Manuel Fernández’s claim that the texts of Second Vatican Council cannot be modified. Schneider argued that only the Word of God—Scripture—cannot be changed. He said Vatican II was explicitly described by Pope John XXIII as pastoral and catechetical, not dogmatic or definitive. He added that Pope Paul VI also stated that the council did not intend to proclaim new dogma or definitive doctrine. According to Schneider, while dogmas cited from previous councils cannot be changed, pastoral formulations can be clarified, improved, or corrected. He pointed to the Fourth Lateran Council as an example, noting that one of its pastoral decrees required Jews in Christian cities to wear identifying signs—something he described as discriminatory and later rejected by the Church. Schneider said ambiguities in some Vatican II expressions should be honestly examined. He suggested that, like other councils’ pastoral statements,…More
In a February interview with Robert Moynihan, Bishop Athanasius Schneider addressed the SSPX and pushed back on Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández’s claim that Vatican II’s texts “cannot be modified.” Vatican II, as stated by Pope John XXIII and Pope Paul VI, was a pastoral council, not dogmatic. He cited the Fourth Lateran Council (1215) as an example of a council containing disciplinary statements the Church would not uphold today. On the SSPX, Schneider proposed bringing them into minimum canonical integration first, then continuing doctrinal dialogue. He warned that harshness risks creating long-term alienation and contrasted the Vatican’s strictness toward the SSPX with what he sees as a more accommodating approach toward China.
Once the culture logically and morally corrupts its language, then, thought becomes corrupt too, and finally behaviour. Just consider the deceptive claim: “abortion is the ultimate form if love.” Repeat the deceptive idea, legislate it and it becomes normalized. Some even push the evil as a human “right”.
Bishop Athanasius Schneider told Robert Moynihan on February 16 about the 30 minutes private audience with Pope Leo XIV on December 18. He described the tone as open and cordial: “The Pope was very kind, attentively listening to me, very, very fraternal and simple.” Two drafts for Leo XIV Bishop Schneider handed Pope Leo XIV two drafts during the audience. 1) A solemn Profession of Faith He proposed a solemn Profession of Faith, modeled on Paul VI’s 1968 Credo of the People of God. Schneider emphasized that such a text would need concrete implementation, not merely publication. 2) A universal legal settlement for the Roman Rite Monsignor Schneider urged Leo XIV to grant equal standing to the Roman Rite and to the Novus Ordo: “I came to ask you for the liturgical peace in the Church… to grant the same rights, the same dignity to the traditional form of the Roman Rite and the Novus Ordo, and to let them peacefully coexist.” Monsignor Schneider advised against another motu proprio “ping …More
It's schizophrenic to ask for religious favors (and hence legitimize) the very same person you are supposed to reprimand for his evil gestures of enabling heresy, sodomy, blasphemy, paganism and all other kinds of mortal sin.
Wed Feb 11, 2026 - 4:47 pm ESTWed Feb 11, 2026 - 6:49 pm EST VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — Pope Leo XIV has approved new statutes of the Pontifical International Marian Academy that express the goal of avoiding “maximalism” in Marian devotions. On Saturday, the Vatican published new statutes regarding the “identity and purpose” and governing composition and structure of the Pontifical Marian Academy. A few clauses of the statutes could potentially be used as a pretext for rejecting certain Marian devotions, prompting at least one commentator to describe them as an attempt to subtly alter and weaken Marian devotion. For example, while expressing the academy’s mission of promoting, supporting, and coordinating Marian research, Article 4 of the statutes declares that this should be conducted “in view of a healthy popular piety to avoid any form of maximalism or minimalism.” The statues also proclaim that Marian piety should not be “reduced to a sterile devotionism, but give life to …

Saint Conrad of Piacenza - February 19 Also known as Conrad of Noto Conrad Confalonieri Corrado… Currau… Kerrew… Memorial 19 February Profile Born to the nobility. Married to Euphrosyne, the daughter of a nobleman; the two led a pious life in the world. One day while hunting, Conrad ordered attendants to set fire to some brush in order to flush out the game. A strong wind carried the flames to nearby fields, forests, towns and villages, and Conrad fled in panic. An innocent peasant was imprisoned, tortured into a confession and condemned to death for the fire. Remorseful, Conrad stepped forward to confess, saving the man. He then paid for the damaged property, selling nearly all he owned in order to raise the cash. Conrad and his wife saw the hand of God in the dramatic events, and chose to give the poor everything they had left. They then separated, she to a Poor Claremonastery, he to a group of Franciscantertiaryhermits. Conrad lived such a life of piety that his …More
February 19 Saint Conrad of Piacenza Hermit († 1351) catholictv on Feb 1, 2016. Saint Conrad was living peacefully as a nobleman of Piacenza. He had married when quite young and led a virtuous and God-fearing life. One day, when engaged in his usual pastime of hunting, he ordered his attendants to set fire to some brushwood where game had taken refuge. The prevailing wind caused the flames to spread rapidly, and the surrounding fields and forest were soon in a state of conflagration. A mendicant who happened to be found near the place where the fire had originated was accused of being the author; he was imprisoned, tried and condemned to death. As the poor man was being led to execution, Conrad, stricken with remorse, declared the man innocent and confessed his own guilt openly. In order to repair the damage of which he had been the cause, as he then volunteered to do, he was obliged to sell all his possessions. He repaid his neighbors for all the losses they had suffered, then retired …More
Carnival Eucharist in Düren, Germany: Last Sunday, Rev Toni Straeten celebrated a carnival Eucharist in the church St Marien in Düren, Aachen Diocese. He delivered his sermon in a clown costume with red nose. The Novus Ordo Eucharist included carnival songs. Aachen Diocese is currently ruined by Bishop Helmut Dieser.
Nothing says "August Sacrifice of the Mass" more than a guy in a clown outfit. It is possible that a priest who dresses as a clown once a year is a clown dressed as a priest all the other days.
02/19/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. Many journalists are interested in the published documents from the investigation against Epstein. However, what is more interesting is what is missing from these files. On February 14, 2026, a forensic data auditor published an analysis on Redditor Epstein that caused a sensation. A massive, chronologically precise gap, the so-called 2001 Canyon, has been discovered in the official EFTA Dataset 9, Internal Communications Correspondence. Between September 1998 (last serial number EFTA00045000) and January 2002 (next serial number EFTA00070000), exactly 25,000 serial numbers are missing. These are not gaps caused by chance, nor by technical failures—a clean, systematic cut. Simultaneously, three years of complete transaction data are missing from Dataset 3, Financial Records. Overall, there is a gap of 2.6 million pages between the approximately 6.1 million pages announced by the DOJ and the approximately 3.5 million pages actually released. …
