According to the sheriff’s office, investigators received a number of tips through the Internet Crimes Against Children database, which said 39-year-old Joshua Lee Gilliam and 39-year-old Ronald Wayne Lynch Jr. were in possession of child sexual abuse material.
A search of Gilliam and Lynch Jr.’s house on Linda Baucom Lane in Erwin saw deputies seize multiple electronic devices, the sheriff’s office said. A search of those devises lead to both men being charged.
Court records show Gilliam and Lynch Jr. are being charged with first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
