Classic sellout routine of British Catholic hierarchy.. bending the knee on the alter of mass well you know the thing... one wonders if he is drunk or on drugs: "Amal, Amal", sounds like almost in a hypnotic trance. I think my comments were deleted a long time ago. These people are all sellouts. Requiescat in pace Vaticanist John L. Allen, 61, has passed away after a battle with cancer. He had gifted writing skills and was considered closely attuned to the Francis-era Vatican. In 2014, he founded CruxNow.com. Before that, he had spent many years working for the anti-Catholic NcrOnline and CNN. He was married, later annulled, and remarried, and is survived by his wife Elise Ann Allen. Friends and colleagues mourn his passing.

John L. Allen Jr.: A life remembered in gratitude

Friends, colleagues, and regular Crux readers will know that my husband, John L. Allen Jr., has been battling cancer for some time, and has largely been absent from the site this year as he underwent treatment and fought for recovery.
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I convey, nearly four years after his diagnosis, that John lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, January 22, 2026, and is now resting in the arms of God, free from the pain and discomfort that he lived with for so long.
While words often fail in these moments, I want to offer a few words of thanks:
First, to our friends and community who have accompanied us throughout this journey, especially the past year. You have supported us with the sacraments, prayers, visits, meals, advice, rides to and from the hospital for treatment, and no small amount of chocolate and wine, but most importantly, with your presence, including a call system to ensure that I wasn’t alone at the end. We simply could not have gotten …

Time and place for everything. Nothing can justify this man approaching the priest at Mass.

Instaurare Omnia in Christo

Novena - Oremus Like those in Gaza who kept saying Mass. And when they were praying while bombs were going off near their Church. That's how Priests should act. Not throwing Our Lord down the way this Priest just did to comfort anyone at all. The Mass must continue no matter what. Someone should have stopped the old man before he even got half way to the Priest.

Catholic Decline in Latin America - Paganism Flourishes

The share of adults identifying as Catholic has declined sharply across much of Latin America over the past decade. The number of people with no religious affiliation has risen, according to a January 21 Pew Research Center report. This marks a shift in a region where more than 90% of people were Catholic around 1900.
The report, Catholicism Has Declined in Latin America Over the Past Decade is based on surveys of more than 6,200 adults in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru conducted in spring 2024. Comparing the results with a similar 2013–14 survey, Pew found that the Catholic share fell by at least 9 percentage points in all six countries.
Today, Catholics make up 46% of adults in Brazil and Chile, 58% in Argentina, 60% in Colombia, and 67% in both Mexico and Peru. A decade ago, all six countries had Catholic majorities of roughly six-in-ten or more adults.

This report from the Pew Research Center is yet another reason for us, as Catholics, to "go all out."
Is there still anyone who doubts that Vatican II was a failure? and that the time is near? and that it's better to be prepared...

Because the Church ceased preaching Christ crucified, the pagans and non-Catholics have greatly increased.

Morning Prayer
Lord, at the beginning of this day,
I come to ask You for health,
strength, peace, and wisdom.
I want to look at the world today
with eyes full of love,
to be patient, understanding,
gentle and prudent;
to see, beyond appearances,
Your children as You Yourself see them,
and thus see only the good in each one.
Close my ears to all slander.
Guard my tongue from all evil.
May my spirit be filled only with blessings.
May I be so kind and joyful,
that all who approach me
may feel Your presence.
Lord, clothe me in Your beauty,
and may I, throughout this day,
reveal You to everyone. Amen.

The most difficult church to access

At an altitude of 2,580 metres (8,500 feet) and located inside a towering sandstone spire the Abuna Yemata Guh church has to be the hardest and most dangerous church to reach.
The church is in the Gheralta Mountains of Tigray in northern Ethiopia. A huge vertical sandstone structure shoots straight up 2,580 metres and like a miracle inside that rock one finds a Christian church. No doubt the hardest to access on the planet.
The church takes its name from one of the nine saints who came to Ethiopia from Rome, Constantinople and Syria during the 5th and 6th centuries. The saints came to the region as missionaries to bring Christianity. They were also responsible for building monasteries and translated the Bible into Ge'ez, the old language of Ethiopia.
Abuna Yemata Guh is one of the oldest churches in Ethiopia, and its founder worked to help carve the church into what is the highest sandstone spire in the area.
The Church has beautiful mural paintings on its walls, domes and columns that …

BREAKING: Details Emerging About President Trump's Greenland Deal | WLT Report

I told you we’d have Greenland wrapped up by Midterms and I might have overshot that by a bit.
At the rate we’re going, we’ll have it wrapped up by February!
Earlier today while speaking at Davos, President Trump issued an ultimatum to Greenland, Denmark and NATO:
A PROMISE: President Trump Issues Denmark and NATO An Ultimatum On Greenland
Not long after that, news broke that a framework of a deal had been reached:
MOVING VERY FAST: President Trump Announces He’s Negotiated a “Deal Framework” For Greenland and The Entire Arctic Region!
Now we're getting details about what that deal might include...
Here's a good summary of what we know so far:
BREAKING: Initial details on the Trump-Greenland deal have emerged:
1. Involves "small pockets of land" for the US

Denmark Forcibly Sterilized Greenlandic Women - C-Fam

WASHINGTON, D.C. January 23 (C-Fam) Denmark has long advocated for contraception and abortion as ways to empower women. In their own territories, however, Denmark has used contraceptives to abuse and disempower women and girls.
Even as President Donald Trump continues to talk about the U.S. acquiring Greenland, which is controlled by Denmark, many women living there have shared their stories about being forcibly sterilized by Danish health authorities as part of a multi-decade population control program.
A
report was published last September documenting the stories of over 350 women and girls who were given hormonal contraceptive injections or had intrauterine devices (IUDs) inserted without their consent—and in some cases, even without their knowledge.
In addition to the resulting loss of fertility, many women also suffered physical side effects from the IUDs. Amarok Petersen discovered the device had been inserted when she was only thirteen, after seeking medical help for severe …

Leftist women and their Romper Room mentality: Whether it’s the newest entrant into the Star Trek world or a day in court, leftist women, with their relentless faux “mommy-ness” demean our world.

Leftist women and their Romper Room mentality

One of my earliest memories dates to when I was three or, at most, four. Every day, I was glued to our black-and-white TV watching Romper Room, a television show for preschoolers. Miss Nancy opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and then conducted a 30-minute preschool class.
This is what Miss Nancy was like back in the 1960s:
It’s very sweet, very loving, very patriotic, and very appropriate for the 3-5-year-old set.
But what happens when an entire political party is taken over by a horde of Miss Nancys? And worse, what happens when those Miss Nancys don’t focus their energy on raising normal, patriotic children (indeed, they want fewer children in the world, and think infanticide through abortion is brilliant), and instead want to use their warped maternal longings to scold and dominate the world?
Well, to begin with, you have Holly Hunter in the new Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which is being roundly castigated as the worst show ever in a swiftly declining franchise. Once, Starfleet …
