Bishop Paprocki issues a decree of excommunication

Good for Bishop Paprocki but this excom was an easy call. Keldermans is a nobody and everyone knows that her sponsoring organization, Roman Catholic Womenpriests, Inc are a bunch of loony harpies who should be occuping their 'Golden Years' by knitting socks for their grandchildren.
This is the guy who needs a public excom but don't hold your breath. The most that Catholic bishops in Illinois will do is to send the governor a "strong statement."
Why?
No guts.

Such vitriol directed at the greatest country on earth? I sense jealousy.

Look, there's plenty to dislike and distrust about the U.S. especially under the corrupt Obama regime. However, ones personal “feelings” regarding the decay occurring in America should not cloud the facts of what is and what has been happening in China with respect to Catholicism.

While in Church, a Catholic Woman Says: "I almost got in a fistfight today"

Although I would have advised most women to react differently in a similar situation, I like this lady and her story, a lot. Too bad she wasn't carrying an umbrella. :o)
As far as the 2 effeminate pansies “THERE’S NOTHING I CAN DO!” sitting behind her who looked like men , they were not men. Suor Cristina - "What a feeling" - The Voice Of Italy

I'll be glad when her 15 minutes is over. She's uses and she profanes what identifies her as a religious (the habit) as a commercial tool to sell her singing. It stinks but it's typical of post VC-II modernism.
Analysis of her singing:
In spite of the glitzy backup and music, she's mediocre at best. Whenever one sings a song that was made famous by another performer, the audience always will compare it to the original artist. .
Listen to this.
Irene Cara kills that song. She's got the pipes, … [More]

Father Piotr Natanek, the Polish Savonarola

Would you please answer few questions?
Who suspended Padre Pio?
Did he/they have reason for suspension?
Would you say Padre Pio was an idiot and was suspended?

After I wrote that lengthy logical piece which, in almost any sentient being, would destroy their trust in this rogue preist, you write the above garbage to me? Look, Natanek is no St. Pio and you demonstrate again that you are living in denial regarding this suspended priest. Natanek's obligation was to obey his bishop in all that is … [More]

Father Piotr Natanek, the Polish Savonarola

Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, former special secretary to St. Pope John Paul II, suspended the rebel priest (Fr. Natanek) a divinis for disobedience.
If you think that that was an illegitimate sanction not warranted by the rebel priest's disobedience, you must then believe that the man (Dziwisz) who St. Pope John Paul II the Greatest of All Time chose to be his personal secretary was a terribly flawed character and issued imprudent sanctions against the “saintly priest” Fr. Natanek without … [More]

Father Piotr Natanek, the Polish Savonarola

The words of a saintly priest or was Fr. Natanek just having a bad day?
Speaking of Monsignor Józef Życiński - Archbishop of Lublin, a famous intellectual and supporter of Europe who died several months ago in Rome - Father Natanek “revealed” that “now the bishop is in hell, bound by the heaviest chain to Mohammed” and that “his cries can be heard in heaven.”
and
His (Fr Natanek) blatant actions increase day by day: he recently attacked a TVN 24 film crew, asking God to curse them.
The rule seems to be "stay on Fr. Natanek's good side" or be consigned to the nether regions and/or be cursed by God.

Cardinals approve miracle attributed to Paul VI
This morning (May 6th), cardinals and bishops of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints gave their final approval for the late Pope’s healing of an unborn child.
The miracle attributed to the intercession of Paul VI was witnessed in the United States in 2001. It involved the healing of an unborn child, which was found to have serious problems and a high risk of brain damage: the foetus’ bladder was damaged and doctors reported ascites (… [More]

Apparitions/Private Revelations

In November 1983, Bishop Žanić of the diocese of Mostar-Duvno, in which Medjugorje is situated, sent a study on Medjugorje to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, who asked him for his position on the apparition. Zanic said the apparition could not be from God because of the "disorder and disarray" it caused, but that it was probably a hoax because "From the outset one can notice that the children have sometimes lied".[4]
Bishop Ratko Perić, the successor of Zanic, stated in Među… [More]

Apparitions/Private Revelations

Certainly, however, the faithful benefit the most from the judgment of the bishop of the diocese in which the apparition occurs. He has the authority to assemble a commission of scientific and theological experts, to judge the case, as well as the grace of vocation to carry out this pastoral service. While his decision is not infallible, it has the presumption of being correct and should receive the respectfully adherence of the faithful (Canon 753). Thus, such decisions should generally be … [More]

Discussions regarding Capital Punishment usually accomplish little so I would simply say that some people are for it and some are against.
While there is considerable opposition to the death penalty in certain sectors of the Church including, Pope St. JP-II, it's still legitimate. Much of the opposition, actually, is from left-wing clergy who are covertly in favor of abortion and use the death penalty issue as a way of attempting to delegitimize the anti-abortion movement. It's called the "… [More]

Bishop Michael Campbell effectively closes Protect the Pope

The bishop's colleagues are undoubtedly pressuring him to go medieval and make this (very unpastoral) move. There's more than one way to respond to Campbell's heavy handed dictatorial command and I'm sure somebody over there will figure out how to get it done. The decision will come back to bite him along with the rest of the modernist Irish bishops.
Among the more measured and scholarly comments, I noticed some wild man named 'Cannoli' also posted at the "Protect the Pope" site. :o)

And, are you referring to Pope Francis as "this man"?
I view "this man" (the Pope) as the visible head of the the Roman Catholic Church that has over 1 billion members. If I am mistaken, why don't you tell those of us who may not have the "real holy spirit [sic]" inside, who this man (Pope Francis) really is?

Mary of the Divine Mercy is condemned by the Archbishop of Dublin

9. Should Catholics give credence to Maria Divine Mercy?
No. She is an anonymous, unapproved seer whose prophecies contain material that is both demonstrably false and contrary to Catholic teaching regarding the future.
Furthermore, to adhere to her prophecies can result in the grave sin and canonical crime of schism.
If, as soon as a new pope is elected (one was elected and his name is Francis), one were to regard him--as Maria Divine Mercy would have us regard him--as a false pope and the … [More]

UPDATED: Did Pope Francis really tell a divorced woman to take Communion?

Speculation on my part:
The call was meant to be private. The pope advised Jackie that is was private. She told her husband and her husband is a tortilla flipping jerk. He goes public with the story embellishing it and enjoying the notoriety that it has brought to him. He's relishing his 15 minutes of fame talking to the press who hang on every word since it is contrary to traditional Catholic teaching regarding divorce and remarriage and the more contrary it is the more the secular media … [More]

UPDATED: Did Pope Francis really tell a divorced woman to take Communion?

Why was there no disclaimer?
The publicity office/public relations dept. for the Vatican has been seriously deficient for as long as I can remember. In the real world, a non-response suggests guilt. In the world of Vatican City, a non-response means they are preoccupied with more important matters, i.e., fettucine, chianti and cannoli.
Julio Sabatta is not trustworthy (he said she (Jackie) was absolved of all sins). Still, I expect a substantive refutation from a spokesman soon.

Pope Francis tells adulterer she should be allowed Communion

Not enough info and, although possible, it's suspicious.
If I were the type to 'bend the rules' as pope, and if she were a friend/relative, I would tell this woman to hold tight and I'll see what I could do for her. I would then contact one of my home boys in Argentina and get it done. This public announcement is stupid and I hope the Vatican has learned from past misstatements.
Now, if someone could prove this whole story was the modernist Krauts (starting with Kasper) attempting to galvanize the peasants with pitchforks in anticipation of the family synod later this year, that, to me, would be more plausible.

Pope Francis tells adulterer she should be allowed Communion

So some guy writes on his FaceBook page that the pope said it was OK for his divorced and remarried wife to receive the Eucharist and there is no independent confirmation of the call?

How about if I write on my FaceBook page that Pope Francis called me and made me a Cardinal over the phone.
