Last Friday a priest belonging to a religious community (40) committed suicide in the centre of Genoa, Italy. After having celebrated Mass he closed himself into the library of the Institute, where he was based, and hanged himself. His corps was not found until the evening. The priest left a note in his bedroom indicating psychological problems, "I apologise to everyone. But I've seen the Devil twice. That's why I can not continue anymore." The priest was very active and did not show any signs, which would have allowed anticipating his act.

@charisma: The news was widely reported in Italy: Genova sacerdote suicida. The article speaks about a "priest" of a "religious community", which means on a Catholic web page could be supposed to mean a "Catholic priest" in a "Catholic religious community".
