Did the Society of St Pius X Push For Abolishing Ecclesia Dei?

A Motu Proprio abolishing the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei is expected to be published in January.

According to HommeNouveau.fr (December 27), the Society of St Pius X is in favour of this, and even demanded it as a precondition for a canonical deal.

The SSPX prefers to negotiate directly with the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
