The “National Federation of Free Thought” which fights against Christian signs on public property in France, is now fighting to save a mosque. Breitbart (November 20) speaks of “a bizarre turn of events”.
Earlier this month the group won a legal battle to get the cross on a statue of John Paul II in Ploërmel removed. Now they are backing the Muslims of Clichy near Paris who fight for maintaining their mosque.
Prior the Federation fought to enforce respect for Islamic dietary practices and for wearing burqa and niqab in public.

The Communists would call these people "fellow travellers" in public and "useful idiots" in private. I wonder if some Muslims do the same?
