Benedict XVI Insists on “Fidelity to the Pope”

At the end of the October 5 consistory, Francis and the 13 newly created cardinals drove in a bus the few hundred meters to the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery to meet the former Benedict XVI.

He greeted them and – according to Vatican press officer Matteo Bruni – reminded the new cardinals of the value of “fidelity to the Pope.”

No mention was made of the fidelity to the Gospel and the Catholic Faith.

Bergoglian modernists besides apostates have lost common sense. If according to them Benedict is not a pope, then his support is useless.

Should I believe B XVI really said this? Is the only source the press officer, Bruni? Another question....Pope who ? or popes - plural - indicating the teaching of tradition?

You are correct. Vatican news used to put quotations around what they claimed he said, but were caught lying on that. Now they omit the quotes...
