Miracle: Abducted Priest Free

Eighteen months after he was abducted, Salesian Father Tom Uzhannalil, was released by his kidnappers.

In March 2016 in Aden, Yemen, sixteen people were killed by Islamic militants in a home for the elderly operated by the Missionaries of Charity. Among the dead were four missionary sisters: Sisters Marguerite and Reginette from Rwanda, Sister Anselm from India and Sister Judit from Kenya. Uzhunnalil who was a chaplain to the sisters, was taken prisoner by the attackers.

The Indian Minister of External Affairs, announced on Tuesday on Twitter that Uzhunnalil is now in Muscat, Oman, preparing for his return to India.
