Last week in the Eternal City, the chaplain to the Knights of Malta and former prefect of the Apostolic Signatura made these remarks during a talk titled "Martyrdom for the Faith in Our Times." Quoting Servant of God Father John Hardon, S.J., the cardinal said, Catholicism is in the throes of the worst crisis in its entire history. Unless true and loyal Catholics have the zeal and the spirit of the early Christians, unless they are willing to do what they did and to pay the price that they paid, the days of America are numbered.

I'm asking people to sacrifice, fast and pray the rosary for all priests, cardinals and bishops because the devil is winning the war here and many lay people are falling down into sin along with priests who are in sin. I personally think that we'll have to be purified through bloodshed, and I would not be surprised if God allows calamities and war to break because people's hearts are lukewarm and have hardened. Very few are faithful to the church and to the same doctrine it teaches. The spiritual warfare here is intense, and merciless.
