Any semi-literate adult who has not noticed the problems raised by the diocese...

Any semi-literate adult should have read who were the plaintiffs in this lawsuit (Bishop Armando X. Ochoa and Monsignor Arturo Bañuelas). This is personal for the bishop (the entire affair has been 'personal' from the start) with the "diocese" of El Paso NOT being named as a party to the suit.

Evidently reading comprehension was never your strong suit, Benny.



Haven't you learned by now that little Benny in his short pants and baseball cap can't win against big bad Cannoli. This is like the proverbial taking candy from a baby while the baby is asleep sucking its thumb.

Wake up, Benny. The papers are allegations proving nothing.

In typical modernist fashion, Benny has taken the “we trust the bishop” position.

Yet, there has been NO trial and the facts of the case have NOT been determined. What we currently have are nothing more than allegations made public by a homo-promo, angry bishop who decided to go public with matters that should have been handled confidentially without further exposing the Catholic Church to greater embarrassment and ridicule. This, combined with the press release from Fr. Rodriquez, leads me to wonder about Bishop Ochoa's true motivation.

If you were to have taken the time to read Fr. Rodriguez press release, you would have seen that Fr. categorically denies the financial impropriety alleged claiming that it is “untrue” and “unjust.”

In spite of that, the obedience zombies like you and the rest (I know you simple minded zombies are reading this so this post goes for you too ) trust the bishop.

I have always honored, respected, and made good use of the financial patrimony of San Juan Bautista. I stake my entire reputation on this claim. If there has been ONE lesson that should have been learned during the last decade by all but the most empty-headed Catholic nit-wits (Hi, guys ), it is to NEVER trust a bishop. Or, at best, trust but verify.

God is just and merciful but the devil is not. The devil will put before you a sinner, and those who do wrong. Whether this matter is true or not, we just have to pray to God so that HE, God, settles this, but we are not to judge or oppose the Bishops, if any of you live close to the Bishop send letters to him, but do not abandoned him. He needs our prayers as well, the devil is gaining territory in the Church by dividing people, and making people hate each other; we are called to love, especially to love our enemy, says the Lord. Do not judge, call the Bishop or write to him, pray and fast for him, and love him. Let God settle this. As I said write or call the Bishop, admonish him, you can also write to the Pope. I will pray to God so that He who sees everything favors the side that is right. A Bishop is in a higher hierarchy than a priest, if the Devil makes a Bishop to fall down, then (The Devil) eliminates many others lay and priests easily. Any faithful, prayerful and certainly "traditional" priest will be Persecuted, period! The liberal-minded hierarchy will stop at nothing to quiet or eliminate a good and holy priest as Fr. Rodriguez. We have seen this time and time again, and the fact that these liberal-minded clergy are now being exposed for who they are has become an even greater battle for them to have to deal with, as has been their dismantling of True Catholicism, which they have pleasantly enjoyed for the past 50 yrs. Now that the truth is being exposed, they must do whatever it takes to silence him.

It is not clear that the priest actually "stole" the money donated to the parish, but that large amounts of money, several hundred thousand dollars, were put in "slush funds" instead of the proper accounts for the parish.

This kind of book-keeping hides large amounts of money from legitimate authority, and prevents the diocese from exercising its responsibility to supervise the parish finances. If this is true, then the priest was engaged in improper book-keeping, at the very least, on a very large scale. The diocese also claims that there are discrepancies of several thousand dollars, for which an accounting should be provided. If true, these are serious matters.

The priest's outspoken defense of the Church's moral teachings is admirable. His leadership in this is praiseworthy. But the parish finances are not the personal property of the priest, and it is perilous to ignore standard accounting practices.

Father, you ARE a real Priest.
