With Pope Francis a modernism "without subtleties or distinctions", much more aggressive than before, has taken control of Rome according to Bishop Bernard Fellay, the superior general of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X (FSSPX).
Speaking in Buenos Aires for the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the FSSPX in Argentina, Fellay told his audience that the FSSPX continues receiving messages of support from both cardinals and bishops. Even Cardinal Gerhard Müller, a traditional enemy, asked him for help, “Indubitably he also spoke on behalf of other Cardinals.” The help would consist in an "integration into the Church to help combat the modernists."
At the end of Fellay’s talk a lady who received a tribute for her services to the Fraternity said, "After hearing these things, the only thing which seems clear to us is the confusion."
