Another Defender of Christian Marriage Has Died

Cardinal Velasio De Paolis, the former president of the Prefecture for the Economic Affairs of the Holy See, has died September 9 in Rome, ten days before his 82nd birthday. Cardinal De Paolis was a professor of moral theology and canon law in Rome for nearly forty years. He published more than 200 books and articles.

In 2014 he contributed to the book “Remaining in the Truth of Christ” criticising Cardinal Walter Kasper's proposal of giving Holy Communion to adulterers, a position later openly adopted by Pope Francis.

Maybe the Lord is calling some of His Faithful servants home before He visits the world and the Church for our infidelities!
Is there a poisoner at work in the Vatican? That is a rhetorical question by the way......a question like, is the pope catholic?
