Modernist Cardinal Maurice Piat of Port Louis, Mauritius, celebrated a “Mass on the occasion of the feast of Diwali” on October 18. Diwali is a Hindu festival dedicated to two gods, Ganesha and Lakshmi who according to Scripture and Catholic doctrine must be considered demons or devils.

Nothing new under the sun. Another idiot bishop on a one way ticket to hell! God expects so much of His Bishops and priests. It was revealed to a Saint once that a priest went to hell because he neglected to clean the altar at times. The priest was slothful in cleaning the altar after mass, now he is in hell. How much more of a sin for a bishop to honor demons?!!!!
So it's ok to honor a hindu demon, Cardinal Piat?
