Seeking Clarity: A Plea to Untie the Knots in "Amoris Laetitia"
1. A Necessary Foreword
The sending of the letter to His Holiness Pope Francis by four cardinals derives from a deep pastoral concern. We have noted a grave disorientation and great confusion of many faithful regarding extremely important matters for the life of the Church. We have noted that even within the episcopal college there are contrasting interpretations of Chapter 8 of Amoris Laetitia. The great Tradition of the Church teaches us that …More

Catholics will not vote for the Catholic political parties :The four cardinals are using an irrational philosophy to reject the traditional ecclesiology and interpret Vatican Council II with the same irrationality.

Lionel:
For the four cardinals the Church is Christ centred in an ecumenism of non-return, with an inter-religious dialogue based on known salvation outside the Church and with a new theology which says since there is known salvation outside the Church the teaching on the Social Reign of Christ the King no longer matters.
On the feast of Christ the king we know that the popes, cardinals and bishops and most lay Catholics will not vote for the Catholic political parties which affirm the Social Reign of Christ the King.
The four cardinals are using an irrational philosophy to reject the traditional ecclesiology and interpret Vatican Council II with the same irrationality.
Pope Francis has responded to them by calling their opinion legalism, it is reported. He says the Council is still not understood.

None of the four cardinals are pointing out to our pope, that there is an objective and factual mistake in Vatican Council II. This cannot be the work of the Holy Spirit.
The mistake in Vatican Council II is the use of Rahnerian theology.
Rahnerian theology is based on assuming hypothetical cases are visible in the present times, so the baptism of desire etc would be an explicit exception to the old ecclesiology. This is approved by the SSPX and the four cardinals being admired here.

The end of my story over at Spero News shows a real life example of "Amoris Leatitia" being used as a reason for a diocesan staff person to fail to practice the spiritual work of mercy of admonishing the sinner. This admonishment could result in protecting children from being given scandal, or could result in reconciliation of a marriage breakup.

@rhemes1582 : It would have been better to leave Meisner out. He is a deeply compromised figure. An obfuscator who asks for clarity?

So sorry to read that. Unfortunately the rarity of action within the church to defend the deposit of faith, gives cause to celebrate anyone and any action in defense of same.
May God have pity on us, and forgive us our sins, against Him. AmenMore

Slowly momentum is unfolding that just might bring about a return of the church to be Christ centred not man centred. Would love to live long enough to witness such a revival with Cardinal Sarah as the Pope.

Unfortunately, one of these Cardinals, Meisner, is a very evil man. He introduced the abortion-pill of the day after into the Catholic hospitals of his archdiocese.

if the Pope responds he has to say "yes or no " like Jesus said" what ever is in between does not come from God"

God Bless these Faithful Cardinals.
