We appreciate good things when we lose them. If we do not wish to lose them, then we must appreciate them for that which they are worth.
The family is a good thing which we are losing. This is the obvious reality from which we must start. The family in Europe and in the West is undergoing a profound crisis. Relativist-Sociologists do not want to speak of a crisis, because this word contains, according to them, a moral judgement on the analyzed phenomenon. They speak, rather, of a transformation of family patterns or of an evolution of familial forms. But these words, too, contain a moral judgement.
