Father Joaquim Pereira da Cunha is the oldest priest in Portugal. He turned 105 on July 8. On August 8 he celebrated his 80th anniversary as a priest. Pope Francis received him on May 13 in Fatima. Father Cunha was the parish-priest of Marco de Canavezes for not less than 72 years: from 1938 to March 31, 2010.
