A July 23 video from Zapotlanejo, near Guadalajara,Mexico, circulating on social media, shows what appears to be a Eucharistic miracle. A consecrated host exposed for adoration by the faithful seems to “beat” like a heart. Argentine Father Carlos Spahn, currently in Mexico, led the adoration. He told AciPrensa.com that the phenomenon occurred during adoration after Mass. He had just finished the prayers for the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and gotten up to regress to the sacristy when it happened. Two of those present pulled out their mobile phones and filmed it. They immediately handed the videos to Spahn, ruling out any manipulation of the footage. "I confirm that this is authentic," says Spahn, who sees in the phenomenon "the heart of Christ beating with love for people." The Archdiocese of Guadalajara has not yet commented. #newsYvtynsigku
