TIMES U.K BLOCKS ‘CATHOLIC CHURCH TEACHES ROWAN WILLIAMS ON WAY TO HELL’ ADVERTISEMENT

The Daily Times U.K group of newspapers has politely turned down a po-Catholic advertisement to coincide with the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI’s visit Sept.16-19,2010. The advertisement was blocked as a sponsored-paid advertisement.

The ad. was sought by a Catholic layman who attends the Novus Ordo Mass and interprets Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church according to Catholic Sacred Tradition. It’s aim was to inform people in general and Catholics in particular about what the Catholic Church really teaches. It would be a clarification and correction of false reports in the U.K media on Vatican Council II, ecumenism, non-Catholic religions and the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus; everyone with no exception needs to be a visible member of the Catholic Church to avoid Hell.

Communication with the advertising department was with :Tim Robbins,International Corporate Trading Manager,NI Commercial ,1 Virginia Street,London,E98 1PL

                                             WHAT WE CATHOLICS BELIEVE

The Catholic Church teaches in Vatican Council II and an ex cathedra dogma that everyone with no exception needs to be a formal, visible member of the Catholic Church, the one true, Church of Jesus Christ to go to Heaven and avoid Hell –and there are no exceptions.
Here is the ex cathedra dogma extra eccleisam nulla salus (outside the church there is no salvation):
1. “There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved.” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215). Ex cathedra.
2.“We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.).Ex cathedra.
3.“The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.) Ex cathedra – from the website Catholicism.org and “No Salvation outside the Church”: Link List, the Three Dogmatic Statements Regarding EENS http://nosalvationoutsideofthecatholicchurch.blogspot.com/
Vatican Council II has the same message.
Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door…-Ad Gentes 7.Vatican Council II.
The Church teaches that Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury and all non Catholic Christians are on the path to Hell unless before they die they formally enter the Mystical Body of Jesus( AG 7,UR 3).If there are exceptional cases ‘in certain circumstances’(Letter of the Holy Office 1949) it will be known only to God. De facto everyone needs to formally enter the Catholic Church. De jure there could be exceptions known only to God.

This is the centuries-old Catholic teaching, pre-Vatican Council II and post-Vatican Council II (Dominus Iesus 20, CDF, Notification, Dupuis, CCC 845 etc)

Official teachings of the Catholic Church unacceptable to UK media. Two major English newspapers have turned down an advertisement which clarifies Roman Catholic teaching and contradicts the propaganda by the secular world wide newspapers about Catholic teaching.

The Daily Express has clearly said that they will not carry the advertisement because of ‘content’. While the Times has indicated that there would be unsolvable technical difficulties with production costs etc.

A lot of what they publish about Vatican Council II is false. They tell us about our religion and what we should believe and what Catholics believe.

A Catholic has the right to express an opinion and/or express the official teaching of the Catholic Faith according to Catholic Magisterial Documents. That was what the advertiement was about.

So one has a  right to a clarification to a lot of their  propaganda which they publish and people assume is the official teaching of the Catholic Church.People of other religions, especially Islam, would be given this privilege, denied to a Catholic.
