Provost of of the diocese of Antibes, France. Chaplain to the pope. Bishop of Sisteron, France in 1244. Archbishop of Embrun, France in 1250. Cardinal–Bishop of Ostia and Velletri on 4 December 1261. Attended the conclave that elected Pope Gregory X, but his health prevented him from voting. Wrote a number of treaties on canon law.
