Denn die Impfung, so der Papst weiter, die von „kompetenten Autoritäten“ autorisiert sei (der Pleonasmus von der „autorisierten Autorität“ stammt vom Papst persönlich), böte die Möglichkeit, durch eine kleine Geste der Liebe die Gesellschaften „zu transformieren und zu verbessern“.
