Seeking to play down the massive criticism of Francis, he asks that the American Church not be reduced to a "group of conservatives".
“They are very, very noisy, they are a network of blogs, and they all talk together, but in reality, they represent just a small group”. Pierre is right because the largest group among US "Catholics" are the indifferent and the lukewarm who are not interested in Francis or in anything else.

Fernandez didn't mention the talk of "blessings for homos". This "synod" is heretical enough, but if they waste their time discussing how to accomodate LGTBQ's and TRANS, and have them welcome in the Church, they will see parishes empty out even faster than when the "reforms" of Vatican II were implemented.

I put my faith in the Catholic Identity Conference hosted by those in Pittsburgh Pa, Sept. 29- Oct. 1, which upholds the True Mass and traditions of the faith, rather than this globalist pan-religious ecumenical prayer service in preparation for Francis' synod. All that comes from Hell.......Presbyterians, Methodists, Anglicans, Lutherans speaking and praying in St. Peter's Square.
No wonder the dome of St. Peter's has turned pitch black.

It has been "forgotten in some circles of the Church", that God created man as man or woman, wrote the Berlin Nuncio Eterović in a hard-hitting speech at the opening of the German Bishops' Conference (Dbk.de, 26 September).
In the German Church, he said, a "partly even contradictory image of man and his nature" prevails. In endless quotations from Vatican II to Francis - a reference to common sense would have sufficed - Eterović shows that the "gender ideology" must be rejected.
Now the homosexualists are fuming. Essen's Vicar General Pfeffer went into hysterics, calling Eterović's collection of quotations "offensive", "hurtful" and "appalling" while carefully avoiding rational arguments.

How is it that a sin which “cries out to heaven for vengeance” absorbs all the time of the prelates? Our calling is to bring people to Christ. Specifically not to conform to the world but to be transformed by Christ. If you come to the Church a thief, you are to be transformed to have Christ’s generosity. If you come to the church proud, you are to be transformed to have Christ’s humility. If you come to the Church consumed with lust (same sex or otherwise), you are to be transformed to have Christ’s purity. The Church welcomes sinners. That has always been the case. But, the true Church commands that the sin be left in the confessional and a new man join to choir of saints.
