The homily seems alright (honestly I didn't have time to listen to all of it), but that poor church looks like something from the original Star Trek t.v. show set... And where is the Tabernacle?

I have always admired the life of a certain priest who began life as a Paulist: Thomas Verner Moore. He was the first priest psychologist, then went to medical school, and then was the first priest psychiatrist. Then he and a few friends did a Benedictine novitiate in (I think) Scotland, after which they returned and founded St Anselm's Abbey in Washington, DC.…More

Then he and a few friends did a Benedictine novitiate in (I think) Scotland, after which they returned and founded St Anselm's Abbey in Washington, DC. After about 20 years as a Benedictine, Fr Moore became a Carthusian and was one of the founders of the American Charterhouse in Vermont.
