A German law professor once gave his entire class the same written exam. The case was simple: Two neighbors were in a legal dispute. One had apple trees, and the branches hung over the fence, dropping apples onto the other neighbor’s tulip beds. The falling apples broke the delicate flower stems. Half the class sided with the tulip lover. The other half defended the orchard owner. They all quoted statutes, paragraphs, and showed off their impressive knowledge of German property law. But in the end, the professor pointed out one simple fact: Apples fall in the fall. Tulips bloom in the spring. The situation they had been analyzing so thoroughly could never actually happen. All protests were met with the professor’s calm response: “Before you start quoting the law, try using common sense.”
NOVEMBER 2 ALL SOULS DAY breski1 The Commemoration of all of the Faithful Departed It is very significant and appropriate that after the Solemnity of All Saints, the Liturgy has us celebrate the Commemoration of all of the Faithful Departed. The "communion of saints", which we profess in the Creed, is a reality that is constructed here below, but is fully made manifest when we will see God "as he is" (I Jn 3: 2). It is the reality of a family bound together by deep bonds of spiritual solidarity that unites the faithful departed to those who are pilgrims in the world. It is a mysterious but real bond, nourished by prayer and participation in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. In the Mystical Body of Christ the souls of the faithful meet, overcoming the obstacle of death; they pray for one another, carrying out in charity an intimate exchange of gifts. In this dimension of faith one understands the practice of offering prayers of suffrage for the dead, especially in the Sacrament of the …More

"Whence God, wishing to repair what was wanting, made a flood, and bade righteous Noah go up into the ark. He, as the flood abated, sent forth first a raven, which did not return ; then he sent forth a dove which, we read, returned with an olive branch. Thou seest the water, thou seest the wood, thou beholdest the dove, and dost thou doubt the mystery ?"
[St. Ambrose – IV Century AD; Augusta Treverorum, Gallia Belgica, Roman Empire/Mediolanum, Italia, Western Roman Empire – Resting Place – Crypt of basilica Sant’Ambrogio – One of the Great Four Latin Church Fathers – Doctor of the Church – made Bishop by popular acclamation] “Chapter III - The operation of the Divine power in baptism is illustrated by Old Testament types. 8. What sawest thou? Water, to be sure, but not water only ; levites ministering there, the high priest questioning and consecrating. First of all, the Apostle has taught thee that we must not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen : for the things which are seen are temporal ; but the things which are not seen are eternal. For elsewhere too thou readest that the invisible things of God from the creation of the world are comprehended by the things which are made ; his eternal power and divinity also are understood from his works. Whence also the Lord himself *says, If ye believe not …More
XXI Sunday after Pentecost Commentary on the Gospel Dom Próspero Gueranger SENSE OF THE PARABLE. - In reality, all of us are that negligent and insolvent debtor servant, whom his master has the right to sell with everything he possesses and deliver to the executioners. The debt we have contracted with His Majesty for our faults is of such a nature, that it requires in all justice endless torments and supposes an eternal hell, where, continuously paying man, he never satisfies the debt. Praise, then, and infinite recognition to the divine creditor! Pityed by the pleas of the wretch who asks him for a little more time to pay, the master goes beyond his request and at the moment forgives him all the debt, but justly putting a condition, as shown by what follows. The condition was that he work with his companions in the same way that his master had done with him. Treated so generously by his King and Lord, and forgiven for free an infinite debt, could he, coming from an equal, reject the …More

Book of Wisdom 3,1-9. The souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. For if before men, indeed, they be punished, yet is their hope full of immortality; Chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of himself. As gold in the furnace, he proved them, and as sacrificial offerings he took them to himself. In the time of their visitation they shall shine, and shall dart about as sparks through stubble; They shall judge nations and rule over peoples, and the LORD shall be their King forever. Those who trust in him shall understand truth, and the faithful shall abide with him in love: Because grace and mercy are with his holy ones, and his care is with the elect. Psalms 27(26),1.4.7.8.9.13-14. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom …More
There is alignment, or at least tacit sympathy, between the Transalpine Redemptorists in Scotland and Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, an anonymous priest of the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X (FSSPX) told TheCatholicHerald.com on 2 November. The priest doubts that they will try to work with the FSSPX, saying: "I think they have gone full sedevacantist. They used to be prior to their reconciliation in 2007." In a statement on 16 October, Monsignor Viganò praised the community for distancing themselves from the Church the previous day. He added that he offered the community "full support", whatever that may mean. On 24 October, the Bishop Hugh Gilbert of Aberdeen stated that the Redemptorists' declaration was "incompatible with the Catholic sense of the Church's unity". He added that the Holy See was examining the matter. #newsVazwvbzsqk
There may be a Holy See, but those who took it by treachery are anything but holy. We witness that every day, so please stop pretending! Yes, the See is not vacant, it is occupied by the representatives of Antichristic One world religion
