Former Member of Parliament became a prominent voice for life, conscience, and moral truth in Britain’s public square. Editor’s Note: The death of Ann Widdecombe is now being investigated as a murder, first reported by the BBC. EWTN News has a developing story surrounding this tragic news. LONDON — Ann Widdecombe, who has died aged 78, was a prominent and combative former British politician who consistently defended the Catholic faith and the Church’s moral teaching in public life. Her management agents announced the news “with great sadness” and sent their “deepest condolences to Ann’s family and friends.” Widdecombe became one of the best-known Conservative politicians of her generation, holding ministerial positions in the 1990s, and briefly returning to elected office in 2019 as a member of the Brexit Party. Already renowned for her outspoken conservative views, she gained further public recognition when she left the Church of England following its vote to ordain women as priests …

This is the murder of a well known Prolife advocate. Ironic that she was murdered just like the babies she tried to protect.

No point in labouring under a misapprehension. The destruction is plainly deliberate. It’s painful to face that fact but it’s a well demonstrated fact at this stage.

Leo hates the traditional mass and will never encourage it as it's against his revolutionary principles.

Again he prayed and taught; his words came forth from his lips like fire and light, and entered into each of the Apostles, with the exception of Judas. He took the paten with the pieces of bread (I do not know whether he had placed it on the chalice) and said: ‘Take and eat; this is my Body which is given for you.’ He stretched forth his right hand as if to bless, and, whilst he did so, a brilliant light came from him, his words were luminous, the bread entered the mouths of the Apostles as a brilliant substance, and light seemed to penetrate and surround them all, Judas alone remaining dark. Jesus presented the bread first to Peter, next to John and then he made a sign to Judas to …More

The Roman Rite Returns to Another Monastery: Today, twelve Benedictine monks from Le Barroux officially established a new monastic community at Notre-Dame de Bellefontaine Abbey in western France. Founded in the early 12th century, the abbey was home to Trappist monks from 1816 until their departure in 2025. Fr. Raphaël, the new prior, paid tribute to the departing community: "The monastery is in very good condition. The brothers cared for it until the very end, always hoping they could remain." And: "Our liturgy will be celebrated in Latin and Gregorian chant. There will be those who like it and those who do not. Each person must discern for himself."

Leo XIV Wants Church with Open Doors and for "Everyone": Today, Pope Leo XIV held a lunch for 200 people in need from the Diocese of Rome in the Gardens of Castel Gandolfo. He said: "I've not prepared a speech, because, I am hungry - hungry for justice, for authentic charity, for a Church that knows how to open its doors, welcome people, and care for everyone." The guests enjoyed a meal featuring pasta all'amatriciana, roast veal, other Italian specialities and strawberries with whipped cream for dessert.

Speaking off-the-cuff at lunch with 200 poor people from the Diocese of Rome, and welcoming them to the Pontifical gardens of Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo XIV says: “I didn’t prepare a speech because I am hungry. I’m hungry for justice, I’m hungry for authentic charity, I’m hungry for a Church that knows how to opens its doors, welcomes and looks after everyone.”

Goofy, the Church has always been open for everyone. But Our Lord said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments." It's not that hard to understand, Leo.

TIA: Saint Peter Damian refers to the homosexual lifestyle as "the queen of sodomy," which enslaves and degrades its victims, strips them of their peace, and instills in them a frenzied obsession with pleasure. He also notes that those who engage in this type of behavior feel driven to drag others into the same misery, becoming homosexual "militants."
Remig Catena Aurea: Sodom and Gomorrah are especially mentioned, to shew that those sins which are against nature are particularly hateful to God, for which the world was drowned with the waters of the deluge, four towns were overthrown, and the world is daily afflicted with manifold evils.

The Beggar Is Right!

– Folha de S. Paulo, November 26, 1982 –
by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira
In these confusing times, facts often influence us less by what they are than by how they appear. And they appear to be what propaganda presents them as. Now, the media — TV, radio, and the press, in short, the Republic’s Fourth Branch — is entirely focused on reporting what happened on November 15.
And, at least for now, it seems to be saving commentary for later. Since I have nothing to add to these extensive news reports, I don’t want to jump ahead with my commentary. As I mentioned above, I will comment more on the commentary than on the facts themselves.
Therefore, while waiting for the right moment, I set aside the big topic of the elections today.
What, then, should I discuss? I close my eyes to reflect. Since I just took a long ride through the streets, it’s not surprising that a multitude of human figures come to mind.
Clearly, the differences among them are vast, as all ethnicities, even the rarest, are …More

What We Have Lost ...and the Road to Restoration
What We Have Lost ...and the Road to Restoration: A critical look at the changes in the Catholic Church
The opening commentary of this video, delivered by the late and faithful Catholic gentleman Dr. David Allen White, extends to approximately the 7:14 mark. Dr. White—a close friend of our beloved Bishop Richard Williamson and a trusted companion to many traditional Catholic priests—speaks with clarity, conviction, and a deep love for the Church. His words provide essential context for understanding the grave crisis we face in the wake of the Second Vatican Council.
I urge you: do not merely watch the introduction—watch the entire video.
To grasp the full extent of the confusion and betrayal afflicting the Church in this era of Vatican II, one must listen carefully, prayerfully, and in full. Only then can we begin to see the truth and reclaim the faith handed down to us by the saints.
This video offers an intimate, up-close look at the …More

The RED LINES that the Magisterium of Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIV have crossed, and which are confusing the faithful and leading souls to the devil, to implement the Agenda of the New World Order in the Church.

1) Dismantling of Catholic Church doctrine and the two-millennia-old tradition brick by brick, to adapt it to the Agenda 2030.
a) Mark 8:33; Jesus rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind me, Satan! For your thoughts are not those of God, but of men.”
b) John 7: 18; "He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the Glory of Him who sent him is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him."
2) Desecration of the Catholic Church through Syncretism of the Catholic Faith with paganism. Desecrating it through the goddess Pachamama and the introduction of the worship of Islam in the Vatican, and urging the faithful to discover Islam, the religion of Baal. They invited the practice of other pagan religions into the Vatican.
a) Deuteronomy 30:17-18; But if your heart turns away and you do not listen, if you let yourself be led astray into bowing down to other gods and worshiping them, I declare to you today that you will surely perish.
b) Exodus 32:19-21; When Moses came near the …More

Spanish Archbishop Rejects Opposition to Mosque: Archbishop José Ángel Saiz Meneses of Seville addressed the proposed mosque in the city at a press conference on Friday. He cited Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 16 of the Spanish Constitution, and Vatican II's Dignitatis Humanae, emphasizing that religious freedom is both a universal and constitutional right. He added that these rights must be exercised in accordance with state, regional, local, and municipal law. His remarks come as Seville City Council has postponed a decision on the mosque's building permit while seeking additional technical and legal reports following objections from the political party Vox.

Donbass civilians recount horrors of life under Ukrainian occupation (VIDEO)

By contrast, Russian forces helped evacuees to navigate their way to safety, at times risking life and limb. The Russian military announced last Friday that its forces had seized the heavily fortified Ukrainian stronghold, which is part of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk-Konstantinovka agglomeration in the northwest of Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Commenting on the development, President Vladimir Putin said that Konstantinovka is the “key to liberating the entire” region. On Saturday, RT correspondent Kosarev visited the city of Gorlovka, where several temporary accommodation centers for refugees from the locality had been set up. He spoke with some of the …

In an interview with a teenager and her Aunt, they were trying to explain what really happened in Georgia. That it was the Georgian government who started the war and killing their own people. But fake news kept cutting them off, or going to commercial. They finally cut them off and said, they were done. But the Aunt and teenager rushed in, the Russian soldiers saved many lives. We thank them for all they did for our families and others. The Aunt got in. during one of their breaks. Yes! You don't want the people to know the truth do you! But in the end they said what they had to say. Just like in Crimea when they went their to find at least one person who was against it. They found NO ONE at all. With one man saying. President Putin is our Commander in Chief. They were not happy at all. Oh! Well.

Lombardy's Bishops on Their Phones: All ten bishops of Lombardy gathered from July 5–10 at the Hermitage of Montecastello in Tignale del Garda for their annual Spiritual Exercises, led by Bishop Massimiliano Palinuro, Apostolic Administrator of Istanbul. They met "for prayer, reflection, and fraternity." The photo showing the bishops all looking down at their phones could be reading the Breviary.
